Check deposit bug
Blue has been fine as a credit union but lacking on the technology front.
Biggest issue is that about 1/5 of checks get rejected when trying to deposit on the app. Pretty frustrating since I have to drive into town to deposit. I may switch banks if it doesn’t get fixed.
Otherwise, Blue doesn’t integrate with some services like Empower expense tracking or Zelle.

Useless
I never leave reviews, but since this may affect your livelihood the way it affects mine, I figured I’d warn folks. The app doesn’t let you link external accounts (it said I did, but their rep said it didn’t say so on their end). Furthermore, even if you did, the page to use an external account to make a payment has never worked and continues to throw out error messages saying to try again. I am going to have to use their text feature to pay my bill, super secure and trustworthy for sure. It feels like they make payment impossible so they can further profit off of late fees. Everyone in these reviews has said the same thing, but nothing has changed. Maybe one day the corporate big whigs will hop off their chair on their yacht and help the common folks, but I doubt it. Bank here with caution, you may end up regretting it.

It’s a joke
As a programmer and as a user, this program is a programmer’s nightmare and is not user friendly. To deposit a check for example, you have to load and activate another program on your phone. What one can now do on the Home Screen is nothing compared to the previously used banking program. Finding various pieces of info, one really has to hunt throughout the screens and hope you will find what is needed. Shee!!!

We’re supposed to trust this company with our money?
Laughably terrible mobile banking. The website doesn’t work any better. Customer service is not any help and it seems they are unable to hire anyone in software development or IT to fix it. Seriously unfortunate that a bank merge with Aventa is making us finish our car loan out with this joke of an institution. Haven’t been able to access online or mobile banking for a week to make our payment and no one has a solution.

Not what I expected from a bank
This app needs to have more info on the loan that the customer can view. Way too basic. Please allow statements to be seen, the actual payment due when more is applied from the previous payments also being able to see more info about payment breakdown. I would think that the app developers would have an idea of what a customer would like to see when entering the app.

One star is indeed the only failing star there is to pick and express my opinion about this bank application! The application is not efficient nor reliable, and may be nor safe to use because of its continuous failure to comply with my correct entry! Again, It is just a waste of my time to use the application as intended to be by rejecting the entry several times. after it has been approved by its proceedings! Unfortunately, and I must add that this bank app., probably a high school student ,who understands the operation of computer, will consider it as a weak inefficient bank tool to use per client. Important note and advise : *Please invest either money or seek for knowledgeable expert professionals to create a decent, reliable, efficient and certainly safe. bank application for your customers . Please understand that many of us in this era use computer bank application for many transactions due to saving time and be able to access our accounts.. etc. *knowledgeably, my disappointment has been explained and related to one of the staff bank members who stated that my disappointment of such, is a common problem among the bank clients!

The original app was 1000 times better than this joke of an app.
My checking account has gone in the negatives several times this month due the apps lack of being able to show what is actually available in the account while other purchases are pending. With this new app you have to jump through so many hoops just to see what is truly available in any of your digital accounts. So before switching banks or even opening an account here definitely ask other blue users what the like and hate about their app and or their banking style before you commit to a bank that cuts corners.

Worst APP
Can’t even pay my bills with this app, doesn’t allow me to schedule transfers. Can’t wait to pay off my car loans through this credit union and never go back! It’s 2024 get with the program and make an app that is user friendly and we can pay our loans! Sheesh, the struggle is absolutely ridiculous. If you see this before getting a loan through them don’t! TRASH!!!

GARBAGE
This app only works about 40% of the time. Which is a huge concern seeing as how it is a banking app. Ever since this new app came out I get kicked off and have to sit and wait for it to load or even open every single time I use it. And to top it all off, now it just won’t work and won’t even let me log in. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn’t help a single thing. This app is trash. It is also saying something about the credit union.
