  • I want to love it

The tutorial is very confusing, I hope to see something more thorough in the future. I don’t understand why I don’t have enough of a specific ingredient even after I purchase multiple of it, which I find frustrating. The artwork is so pretty but the game itself is too confusing for me. With only two ingredients to start with, I don’t understand how to complete orders requesting abilities these ingredients don’t have.
Maybe consider adding a recipe book where each new potion made is an unlocked recipe? I think it would be helpful to find a reference for future potions.

  • I don’t know how to play 😭

It’s a cute game style and I love potion crafting but I can’t for the life of me understand anything. And the worst part is every time I do it wrong as I’m trying to figure it out my ingredients disappear and then I have to buy more only to repay my confusion failed attempts which leads to having no coins and then what?!
The tutorial makes no sense and does nothing to explain the mechanics. I’ve played a LOT of games and this unfortunately is by FAR the most difficult to understand. Cause I still don’t

  • Unclear instructions

I was super excited to play this game, the visuals are lovely and the concept is really fun, but the tutorial was vague and I couldn’t make my first order. I had the redownload the game a few times to see if I missed anything, but I couldn’t find anything to help explain the process more. Hoping this is fixed soon cause I’d love to play this game properly.

  • Nice visuals, clunky controls

The lack of instructions made it difficult and i ended up deleting the game after 3 minutes. I’ll also say the controls were clunky and not super sensitive, dragging an object took about 3 tries per. I love the aesthetic, and the muted color is very nice.
  • Impossible to understand

I never give reviews. I hate doing it. I ran RAN to give this review. I loved the art style and it looked so cute and witchy so I thought oh that would be a good game for me to play when I’m bored. I was so wrong. The information they give is incredibly unhelpful. I downloaded this thinking I would enjoy a cute game where I got to make potions. NOPE!! Instead I’m just clicking on random stuff having no idea what I’m doing. There’s no information about what you need to make a potion. Just having it tell you that something need one light effect with no bad effects doesn’t help when there’s no explanation. I tried to figure out the dehydration thing and it made me want to throw my phone because you tap a your screen and the things fall randomly with no reason. Every time I tried to get rid of the bar that COVERS MY ENTIRE BOTTOM SCREEN it takes me back to the main part so if I get three and then accidentally click out I HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. Most unenjoyable game ever.

  • it’s trying to give something, but it’s not trying at all

the art style is so cute, but after the tutorial, i was so confused on what to do. i tried clicking everything, but it would only give descriptions, and when i would try to make potions, it would only make the same thing. love the artstyle tho!
  • An Incredibly Cute Game

This game is incredibly cute and very fun, dare I say, addicting. Of course though, there are a few downsides:
    - It’s a little hard to tell where the objects are going to fall in the herba dehydrator. Maybe a little fall guide before you place the cauldron would help?
    - It’s a little hard to pick up herbs in some minigames, but if you tap them and move away slowly, it always works.

Other than that, it’s a brilliant experience!

  • UX needs work

This game is really cute both in concept and artwork, but the usability is incredibly frustrating. Interacting with any of the mini games takes precise touching and it takes away from the joy of actually playing the game. As an AuDHD person things like this immediately make me stop and delete apps because there’s just too much stopping it from being smooth gameplay. Aside from that, it really is a great concept but it just needs hella smoothing before I decide to come back and re-download.

  • Terrible

Having read the other reviews I was determined to learn how to play this. I did indeed learn the mechanics of how to play but it is a terrible game. Difficult to pick up pieces, the same mini games over and over again, and you can't see previous combinations you've made so you either have to memorise them or write them down. Unfortunately nothing about this is fun and I really wanted it to be!

Thanks for your feedback! I'm continuing to add tweaks to UI to make the mechanics easier to understand. Please consider trying it one more time :)
  • It’s trying.

The game has a lot of potential, the art is cute and the concept is great, but the technical side of things is painful. The mini games are slow and unresponsive, the orders are often impossible to fulfill, and the UI is really annoying. (You can’t see your in-progress potion’s stats while looking through ingredients, so you have to open and close menus again and again. I’ve been doing that for almost an hour and haven’t been able to complete a single order due to the math of things. As I said, the quests often can’t be completed.)

Overall, this needs to be play tested from the beginning. I’m sure the quests are possible later in the game with better ingredients, but from the start I don’t think you can actually progress, at least not easily. (Once again, about an hour of gameplay without a single quest completed.)

Best of luck to the devs! I can tell this game means something to you, and I hope this helps a bit with where to start working.
