Hello, I really like your game. I like having the ability to create custom levels, any game that has this is getting a guarenteed 5 star from me. Though, I would like to suggest some things I would like to be added in the future.
(Disclaimer: Most suggestions are for the level editor.)
1. Temporary invincibility upon revival
Sometimes, when reviving your character, there’s a chance that you will spawn in a place that immediately kills you (ex. In front of a wall, or inside of a moving object.)
I think adding a 1 second immunity shield could help fix this problem. This problem mostly happens to me when I’m moving at very fast speeds, or playing crowded levels.
2. Collision options
Having the option to have collisions on or off for custom objects would be nice. It would be escpecially good for air deco, fakes, and details.
3. Easing
I really, REALLY want this feature to be added. Having easing settings in the Animate tab would be so nice. It would make moving objects appear smoother and overall better.
4. Custom backgrounds
Drawing custom backgrounds. I’m not entirely sure that this idea is very good, considering moderation isn’t all that well, but I have ideas for backgrounds that I want to draw. (Or maybe just add more new backgrounds idk… XD)
5. Custom music
I think having a library of different music to use in your levels would be a good idea, mainly so that the music you put actually fits your level. Like if you’re making a winter-themed level, you can add holiday music to fit the vibe more. Obviously, to avoid copyright infringment, you should only get royalty free music. Or you can ask the music owner for permission to use their music in the game. (I think finding copyright-free music would be an easier and overall better choice.)
6. In-game notifications tab
I honestly have no idea why this was never a thing to begin with. Added a notifications tab at the top of the screen has a pretty self-explanatory reason. This is one of the things I really want to be added.
7. Level descriptions
Just a small feature to maybe add. I don’t have much to talk about on this. It’s literally just descriptions for levels
8. Select tool
I hate having to add objects in groups just to move them somewhere else and then ungroup them. Please add a select tool to make this easier.
9. Recent levels tab in Explore
I want to find recently made levels in the Explore tab, and not look for levels by going through leaderboards and clicking on people’s profiles to play their levels from there.
10. More custom block settings
Adding things like an opacity slider, color gradients, and block phyisics (like gravity) would be great. Escpecially the block physics, since the only blocks in the game witb physics are the boulder and the log.
11. Gravity modification
This would be a good feature, escpecially for space-themed levels. Like a moon level. You would want low gravity for a moon-themed level because, well, the moon has low gravity. As of now, the closest thing we have to gravity modification is slopes. A downwards slope gives the illusion of low gravity when jumping, whereas an upwards slope does the opposite, give the illusion of high gravity.
12. Background color changing
Finally, I would like the feature of changing the background color throughout the level. This is escpecially good for changes in scenery, like going from a candyland to the jungle. You would obviously want to change the background color to make it look better.
(I had 3 more suggestions, but I lost half of my review and had to re-type the rest. I don’t remember the other 3 suggestions I had and also I’ve been typing long enough so I won’t bother typing any more suggestions lol.)
