If you love birds, download this game NOW

I was looking for bird games on the App Store and came across this app randomly and ever since I downloaded it I still play it every single day. This is my favorite game on my phone and I love how much effort the developers put into this game. The music, the graphics, the mannerisms of the birds, etc. everything about this game is so amazing. There is always something to do which keeps you busy so you don’t really get bored. I’m a few events into the game now and I think that aspect of the game is amazing for people who already have all the core set birds who want to keep getting more birds spaced out into the future :)

One thing for the developers if you guys see this, one problem I run into is that previously when trying to watch an ad to -30 minutes wait time from a food flower to get gnats faster, it didn’t subtract time at all so watching the ad for that specifically didn’t work as intended.

Adorable

I have a suggestion for the developers. Since you can only have 117 birds in the forest, is it possible to have different sanctuaries we could switch to? As in, I can go to a different part of the forest or different setting and put other birds there instead of storing them? I wouldn’t mind having to repeat clearing sections like I did before since I hate the idea of having to store away my birds and I’m getting close to that 117 limit. They deserve to be free! 😭

This is basically a collection game. You collect different birds either through events or using items to get eggs and expand the sanctuary using ingame currency collected by the birds. It’s really pretty, really relaxing and very cute. If you like collecting things you like, then this is definitely for you. Plus, you learn to identify birds, which is great for anyone wanting to learn such a thing.

Thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear you aren't enjoying the game as much any more. To answer your questions: Special Feathers are the only feathers that rely solely on chance to summon, these are the rarer core sets and only comprise 3 of the 12 core sets. Events will return in future and you will be able to earn birds you previously missed. The forest is as large as currently possible without causing performance issues for some devices. Perfect Combination of Entertainment and Science

This is literally my favorite game! I have been attracted to the birds for years but it is the game that made me start my journey as a bird watcher. Witnessing the birds in the game coming into real life is just so gratifying (yes, the game is perfectly scientific, their figures have certainly captured the features of each species so that I can easily correlate them with those in real life).

Although some reviews complain about the food flower system, I find it suitable for this kind of games——set the flower for the longest time and I can just ignore the game for a while. While being entertaining, the game doesn’t take up too much of my time.

I wish I could have 10 stars in rating! But let’s sum up: this is a perfect combination of entertainment and science, certainly worth trying!

Glitches

I like this game a lot but more than half the time i try to open the game it says server error and I cannot play the game, usually have to wait around a week or more for the game to work again. Same with all your other games, like old friends and bunny haven

My favorite mobile game (by far)

I literally never write reviews but I love this game so much for so many reasons that I decided I would write one in this instance.

One of my favorite things is the ads in the game. If you want, the experience can be completely ad free. It’s so nice that you get to choose to see ads, and the rewards for watching them are extremely motivating! Unlike other games I actually feel good watching ads and not annoyed.

But the reason I’ve logged in daily for two months and spent money on a couple occasions is not just for the ads. I just find it genuinely fun! I love birds and this game is great for any bird lovers. It includes tons of real species that are represented by adorable and very pleasing art.

The single complaint that I have is that I’ll never be able to finish it and complete every bird! Since I joined late there’s an empty spot in my journal and I hope that when I reach the end of the events it might roll over and I can get the final missing bird and decoration.

Overall, a super fun game that I’ll be playing for a long time.

Great in a slower paced meditative sort of way

It’s wonderful in the way bird watching is. If you want a fast paced game with lots of immediate progress, this one isn’t for you, but if you want a game to check up on your animals for a couple minutes a couple times a day, this is it. It isn’t overwhelming, it’s calming, it’s joyful checking in the birds and exciting to get a new one or complete a set. Enough content to keep going for months, and even longer with events and updates. It’s glitchy at times and has some tweaks to work out, but well worth the hiccups.
