Great foundation!
Im not having that much success, but the app does seem like its designed for people to succeed and eventually delete it haha. Which is something I can’t say about any other dating app.
The app for intentionality
I’ve had a markedly better experience on this app versus Hinge and Tinder. A testament to an out of the box view of the dating app ecosystem.
Waiting List
The app so far has been inaccessible to me because of the waiting list. I am a NYC resident and filled out the application accordingly, but have been on the list for about 1 month without any sort of notification when I’ll get off of it. Seeing some other reviews where people have been on for 7 months is just frustrating. Don’t bother submitting your pictures and information because they keep it for who knows what purpose.

Great idea
The app is great and I love the different activities they plan for the community. Just wish people will be better at replying.
Bad bad bad
I hate apps and make you sign up, upload your photos your profile details everything only to let you know that they are going to let me know when my application is approved. Screw that thank you for wasting my time. I left the app one out of five for that reason.
It Worked!!
Got my first match a couple weeks into the app and been together ever since. Really helped me find someone who was serious and looking for something long term. Very happy I saw their ad and tried it out!
Waiting but I love this concept
Still waiting for my application to go through, but this app sounds so much better than meeting with strangers on Hinge . The algorithm made it worse. And I can find only those that don’t take dating seriously.
Don’t even waste your time
What kind of dating app is this? Wasted 30 mins submitting an application for a dating app only to get hit with the message that my application is awaiting review….. for over 2 weeks. It feels like you’re awaiting a job interview which is pretty crappy. The developers clearly didn’t thought this through. Deleted this trash app.

It works
Cuffed is truly one of those dating apps that just work. The concept is so unique and facilitates genuine connection especially in the day of age where the illusion of choice is so big in New York City. This app is truly a hidden gem for dating.
As an actual user…
this app is great. I’ve noticed that all the bad reviews are from people who haven’t actually been accepted yet. As someone who’s been on the app for a few months, this idea actually works. I haven’t opened Hinge in ages and only really use Cuffed at this point. Been on a few great first dates and ended up on a second, third, fourth date… fingers crossed for more. My friend got partnered with someone at one of their events and now they’re seeing each other. the one match at a time thing really works!
