  • So happy it’s back… but

I can’t tell you how much I love this game. I used to play it… 12ish yrs ago or more. It was Adult Swim’s best game. I am sooooo stoked it’s back. But, they have made some updates. They made it more like current games with prizes and boosts and it has a game show host, and there is only a timed game.

The actual game tho, IS THE SAME! 🎉🎉🎉 same gameplay, monsters, look, everything. 😁❤️

  • A tad bit disappointed, but happy the game is back

Feels like more of a spin off of the original game. Gameplay is great. Unfortunately the time limit pretty much kills the fun. I don’t think I will sink as many hours as I did with the original super monsters since there is no endless mode. I hope the devs will fix this eventually.
  • Blast from the past

This game used to be around years ago and was a favorite. To see it came back… I got a tear in my eye. So much fun and now my weekend is completely busy. Please never take it away from me again! It’s one of the best puzzle games out there.
  • Classic

I used to put hours into this game during its original release when I was a younger one. It’s a bit updated and some mechanics are a little different and the voice of the announcer has been changed but all in all it’s solid and plays just then same as it used to.
  • Thanks for bringing it back.

This is my all time favorite mobile game. Thanks for bringing it back. Please add more levels and challenges.
  • Fun and frustrating

Each game starts slow and builds in intensity and chaos… and just when the fun really starts, the two minute timer is up and your game ends. It’s like a racing game where the tracks are so short that you reach the finish line before you’ve even had a chance to reach your top speed. It’s incredibly frustrating.

  • Big baller condo

This game has always been fun to play. I’m happy that it’s been brought back to our phones.
  • I’m annoyed to be in the minority

Sadly I think my review won’t really matter in the end but man this initially looked so excited to me until I started playing it. The game has a 2 minute time limit that feels like when you’re chewing on sunflower seeds and one of the seeds turns up empty. The game USED to have no time limit and was more about how long you could last. Now it seems to be focused on grinding for in game currency to get boosts to grind for more coins to get more boosts…it’s not fun. I already have to pay for Apple Arcade, why make a game that feels like if it wasn’t on Apple Arcade it would have tons of micro transactions? I wish this was just like the original Monsters Ate My Condo.

  • Update

When will the game update I’ve done all the daily challenges and it needs more added to it
  • Great game but major limits in replayability

I never played the original version of this game, so my impressions are as a brand new player.

The game itself is quite fun - some challenges are tricky, but not so tricky that they're infuriating. Coins become available at a natural pace to match up with new skills.

However this all goes away once you hit level cap (level 30). There is a daily challenge - but other than that, there's really no replayability. Some daily challenges reward coins, but others only reward hats for your monsters. Even trying to beat your high score becomes tough without a regular supply of coins.

Hoping for an update that increases level cap or implements new game modes.
