since it was a free app, i had very low expectations, but it is very functional and most importantly- free! i hope it stays that way
the only problems are that the search bar glitches out sometimes and doesn’t let me type but otherwise its great 👍

No ads this app is amazing
The app is great the only app out that you can listen to is Music Ad free for free I don’t how this does not have more reviews this app is amazing! I have a suggestion could you make a feature where can you adjust the order in that you play the songs in the playlist.

Amazing app! I’ve been looking for a iOS free music listening app for a while now and i think my search might just be over. i just had one question. i read somewhere that this app had an offline music listening option and I cant seem to find it.
A YouTube Skin
Basically a YouTube skin. I don’t care as much about the ethics of how he’s sourcing content as the fact that you can’t hide the YouTube video it’s playing from, and the music stops once you turn off your screen. So if you want to listen to music for a long period of time, you’d better be ready to have your display unlocked and lit the whole time.
A great app for sorting YouTube’s music content into an app. But misses the mark on key features a music app needs to have - i.e. I’ve never come across a music app where you can’t turn off the screen - this results in unnecessary battery drain, privacy issues, and lack of mobility.
That being said, Freefy does have a web app / website as well, and I’ve been using that with no issues for the last few weeks. No ads and you can import your Spotify playlists. Which is why I’m a little disappointed at the app, but given the rich feature-set of the web app, I’m thinking this mobile app will probably get better too.
+3 stars for cost, integrations, UI/UX
-2 stars for Lock Screen interrupt, Google Sign-in buggy

I love the app but it’s annoying I can’t click and the music stops. Other than that fine.

Hard to navigate the app, jumps around, pop ups everywhere that you always accidentally press. Wouldn’t be bad if it would truely be no ads but gotta make their money somehow i guess.
Freefy is an amazing alternative to Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Spotify, but…
Its search bar is a bit laggy as I tried typing a certain song or artist, and its playlist selection is kind of limited with a number of 30, but everything else looks perfectly fine with unlimited skips in between songs. Kinda funny to see it has copied off of Spotify's playlists without its knowledge and consent over the years before I signed up for it. After Apple Music went through a phase after content purging, it retired most of its stations and they ended being absorbed into Freefy's playlists. I'm glad Freefy got updated today. Totally 100% free, and I think everyone should try it.
