Good idea on paper, poor experience so far
This app is an excellent idea…but my experiences haven’t been the best. I’ve had the same location four times in the last five weeks and each time it has given me only two other people in the group. Once it was both people not making it which leaves just me and twice only one other person showed up. I understand stuff happens so no hate there, but it makes one-on-one sessions kinda awkward and that’s not the vibe I want from this app.
Meanwhile, my friends have had new locations every week and have had full groups. I could just be unlucky, but so far the app hasn’t been that great for me. They also imply a penalty for no-showing but they don’t talk about what the penalty is.Show lessR. Connor

I'm so sorry that is not the kind of experience we aim to provide with Mesh! We have made some big overhauls that address people no showing. You now have to place a hold in order to confirm your attendance for the week. We also have updated our algorithm and you should now more variety in locations. This is such a good idea for an app. My only feedback would be maybe later dates and having an interest in things you like so you can match with people of similar interests. Other than that, I can't wait to see where this app goes.LadyyChalamet

Thanks for your support! We are almost done with building "super groups" and that will allow for more similar interests!Great resource, need outdoor areas.

I have only had one encounter. It was great to meet new people but the level of noise inside the coffee shop was so high that we could not hear each other. It would be great to meet in places that have outdoor sitting too.Sonrisa Colgate

I’m not one to usually try out new apps but this is cool! Met three new people. There were some things that once you connected made more sense. Such as you have to like locations first. I hope they add a more in depth tutorial soon! Love Mesh!Michaelof09
