Just tried removing 1 problem from a list of 12 and changing the order of things. Now my list is empty…
The app suffers from a host of unintuitive ways to interact with it, from navigation to adding a new climb. It works as a minimum viable product, but certainly falls short of similar app experiences.
To compound these issues, I find that I am regularly dealing with technical issues that prevent me from logging climbs or even looking at the leaderboard. Generally deleting and reinstalling solves this, but talk about a modern software experience.
The app doesn’t work well when loading climbs. The filters are incorrect, showing me 40 degree climbs when I have it set to 25. Logging sends is clunky. Very slow to load.
No issue for YEARS. Now I’m getting kicked to reauthenticate?
Nonsense. What you had over the other boards was the power of the app, you now longer have that claim.
Rating is actually a 0/10. Lost years of tracking because Ben needed to make another buck.
The app shouldn’t switch to the other user when swipe problems or open other problems. It should be more intentional to switch back like pressing the light button again. I’ve accidentally changed the problem on people twice when they’re climbing.
I know in the settings I can turn off light when swiping and tapping on problem but I actually like those features when I am not interrupting someone else’s climbing.
Decided to Moonboard for the first time in a while, when I tried to log a climb the app logged me out and wouldn’t let me sign back in. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but the login button stays grayed out and won’t let me press it. Looks like I’m going back to the TensionBoard ✌️.
Absolutely amazing app! Lets me climb all the good climbs that I crave and need. I will be top of the moon board one day!
Finally multi-user connectivity! All my dreams have come true. A lot of work to go but I’m one happy board bro
Love the MoonBoard and I liked the old app. This new version doesn’t seem to have a conversion from font scale to V scale which is weird because the old app did. Also I’m having trouble even opening the app. It just gets stuck on the opening screen and I can’t look at climbs
The link between the app and the beta videos seems to not be working. No new beta videos in a long time. Also what happened to bookmarks? That was the ultimate todo list. Also my “favorites” seem to constantly be getting purged.
