Can finally play on a 16 gb phone ☺️
This app is trash
The concept of this app is good, playing genshin, a 28gb game, with only having to download like 200mb, sounds good right? But when you get in the app, you notice you only have around 5 hours for free, when those 5 hours are over, they only give you 15 minutes to play everyday, which is barely enough to even do the daily quests, not mencioning how the prices are absolutely INSANE, 20 DOLLARS to play a FREE game for only 30 DAYS. If you want to play in this for a year it will cost you 240 DOLLARS. that’s almost the same price of a Nintendo switch. Please reconsider before using your money on this app.

Horrible quality but I love it
Works excellently!
First off, truly excellent game. I’m reminded time and time again how high quality it is and how much love and support it gets. Secondly, the cloud service. It runs excellently with almost no input lag on my sub-par WiFi and even cellular at max resolution. On mobile, it is much smoother than GeForce Now—and much cheaper if you only play Genshin and less than 45 minutes per day (and completely free if less than 15 minutes per day, which is the average daily time anyway). All I hope to see added is global illumination! The PC version has it, and this is clearly running the PC version’s graphics since it has parallax textures, which the native mobile version doesn’t support. The GeForce Now version has global illumination enabled by default, and that’s still more important to me than anything. If this version had it, I think it’d be superior in every way!

The answer to my prayers
My poor iPad has barely been able to squeeze the last 6 updates of Genshin Impact into its storage space, even after deleting everything I could! I was getting ready to drop a grand on a gaming PC just to be able to travel to Natlan soon. Genshin Impact - Cloud is a much more cost effective option, and experiencing the super-high definition in game for the first time in 4 years of playing was almost a religious experience. If you’re like me where this game is your hyper fixation and you’ve been stuck with low storage and low frame rates, this is truly the answer to our prayers! Thank you, Hoyoverse!

It's genshin but cloud
The whole game is here but it only uses about 150mb of data which is pretty remarkable but it is cloud gaming after all so there are some drawbacks. I played for about an hour and only had a few frame skips and lag but i think the trade off is worth it. You also must have a pretty good network connection that's stable but that's to be expected. I'm mixed on the monetization aspect so i won't tell you how to feel about it i'll just explain it a bit. Basically you can buy a cloud pass for 19.99 usd for a months time of unlimited playtime from my understanding. The other option is buying cloud coins which is basically premium currency to buy minutes of play time. So 180($1.99) cloud coins means 1800 minutes of playtime, 550($5.99) coins mean 5500 minutes of playtime, etc. This is not an optional expense as cloud coins cannot be earned in any other way other than direct payments. Since cloud gaming relies on outside sources to actually run the game I understand this to some extent but again i'm mixed. Weither you think the expense is worth the saved system space is up to you. So far that's the biggest drawback of this version but as far as the actual game it runs well and looks pretty okay (not as good as direct download but is at least HD). Again just my thoughts after about an hour lol OH FORGOT TO MENTION i also am running it on an Iphone 15 if you were curious.

The pricing is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. And 15 minutes of playtime a day? That isn’t enough for a simple story or world quest. You actually just can’t play the game on here. Might as well go with the other cloud services that support this game.

But now there is a Genshin cloud workaround, which is great! Hopefully they add other games like HI3 or HSR to the Bunch because those would be lifesavers! There’s only one itty-bitty problem with it is the graphics, but I know you can adjust it and make it better for your phone!
Also, you’ll get a free trial of minutes which will last a long time! If you also login daily, you can get more minutes
