It does not let you add an image as the background. It has the option but it does not work. Completely unresponsive. Paid for a year and ended up being a bit of a waste.Marissa1k

Hello, apologizing for the inconvenience. The problem might be due to missing access to the photo gallery. The app should ask for access the first time it tries to set a background photo, so I'll double-check for any potential problems. However, you can solve this by granting access through the Settings app. Open Settings -> Countdown -> Photos -> All Photos.
