I would say this app saves me a minimum of 3 strokes per round. I use it every time I play to plan my round and make sure I pull the right club. #1 course management app in my book!

Best GPS APP

I have used all the GPS golf Apps. This one is 100% worth the price. It’s perfect for Golf strategy (if you are familiar with DECADE golf, this is the app for you). I love the Strokes Gained Stats it keeps for you. Their response to wanting new features is really quick and usually implemented. Love it

Cool Idea - Needs Improvements

I’ve used Arccos for a few years now. I love the simplicity of just playing and reviewing/updating after my round, but thought I would give this app a try to help with target selection off the tee.

App is really cool, and I love being able to overlay my shot history onto the course, but two things make it more annoying than it needs to be.

1) When you draw in OOB, trees, etc it doesn’t save it to the hole. I spent about an hour drawing in boundaries for everything on my home course, only to realize after it doesn’t save it 🤦‍♂️

2) When you do get everything drawn in you can then drag your target line around to find your optimal strokes gained. Ideally the app would have an option to show your optimal target line, instead of playing “guess and check” the whole time.

Overall cool app, but for the price tag needs to be a little more fleshed out. I paid for a year, so I’ll have to see where they’re at a year from now when it’s time to renew.

Appreciate you grabbing a one year subscription. To make the most of it I suggest the following, 1) Track your stats via Round Entry 2) Upload your launch monitor data occasionally 3) Use the course preview with your shot data + the Strokes Gained Predictor to prep for your rounds at new courses 4) Use the app on course to quickly pick a smart target in the same way you’d use a yardage book. The best digital yardage book app

Absolutely great yardage book app. Could not be much better. If they added a simple way to input shots without dragging and dropping on the map it would be perfect for strokes gained tracking!

Upgraded game.

My focus shifted recently to course management, this app was the tech I needed to go with my improving discipline and mindset on the course. It’s simple, but seeing my dispersion pattern gives me a ton of confidence as I commit and try to execute each shot.

Next level golf IQ

This is the app for serious golfers who want to think like a tour pro. Very impressive. Everything I can think of for an app like this has already been incorporated. The ability to take real launch monitor data and plan a round in advance is very very cool. Looking forward to lower scores!

After a series of questions, you make an accout and finally get to using them app. Then you are faced with a “subscribe…”, or else… Subscription is 100$. Based on my experience, this app is utterly useless, sorry.

We try to walk new users through the unique features of Shot Pattern when they first download the app so that you understand all the value you’re getting if you choose to subscribe. We also offer a free trial so that you can experience all the paid features before you make a decision about whether you want to buy.

Good but Missing Basics

I like the idea of using your shot pattern to predict the best play. But there’s not even an option to keep your score on the app. Add score and slope (plays like) then it’s usable. Add green heat maps and wind direction it’s the best gps map in the App Store.

Thanks for the feedback! While we currently don’t prompt scorekeeping during your round as a way to limit distractions, you can enter full shot data after the round and get shot by shot strokes gained, advanced stats, and shareable scorecards. Elevation changes, wind direction, and more are all part of the road map!
