I’m not a numbers person, but I am a person who enjoys a challenge. And this game offered my brain just that. I’ve been looking for ways to train my brain 🧠 with activities that enhance my cognitive thinking skills and improve my focus. This was it! Because math has never been my strong suit, I was a little timid, but once I began playing, I loved it. Honestly, now I can’t stop playing.
Aside from an easy-to-use design, the game itself is simple to understand--something I really appreciate from a brain-focused app. I highly recommend this app if you want to spend more time with brain exercises and less time going down a social rabbithole. Five stars all day ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A recruiter tried to get me to give this game a positive review as part of a job recruitment test. As I was in communication, all traces of the recruiter or company randomly disappeared. Is it a scam to get good reviews? Was he even affiliated with this app? Just in case, I’ll leave an honest four stars. Fun for what it is but could use some more onboarding and UI improvements.

The game includes levels, star ratings per level, and different ranks, which can incentivize users to complete multiple levels. However, I feel there are a few ways to improve the overall app experience, including but not limited to: different level structures (maybe incorporating other math operations like PEMDAS, etc), a rewards system, an offered version that doesn't include ads (for a fee), fixing some small typos, and also making the instructions clear from the start (or walking the player through one level). Overall, though it may be simple, I really feel like this game has a lot of potential and this is a great base to build from.

Each level starts off with simple equations, adding more and more of a challenge as you continue to succeed through the courses. There were several instances where I would get stuck, resorting to peeking at the hints predetermined for you, only to find this adds a new challenge to the equation: that there is more than one way to solve a math riddle.

This math, puzzle-like game prompts you with a large sum and 6 additional numbers. The player is to use the additional numbers to get to the large sum – by adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing. Please note that all 6 numbers do not have to be used.
Having a hard time figuring out the equations? Not to worry! The game is considerate enough to give 2 hints to get you on the correct path to solving the equation and becoming a numbers master! Digits Math Puzzle - Brain Gym also keeps track of your previous “moves” so you won’t forget what numbers you chose! The game congratulates you when you get the equations correct and encourages you to keep trying if you are not able to solve it. If you are not successful in getting the correct answer, and find yourself having a difference of 5 or less, don't worry! The game does not ridicule you for it or subjects you to stay at that level, it gives you two options “Next Puzzle” or “Keep Trying”. Each ranking section has 6 levels of equations, once you complete the 6th level in a section, you are bumped up in ranking(s). If further instructions are needed, there is a drop down section on the right hand corner that contains instructions, contact information, and the game version (which is currently v1.0.3).
Digits Math Puzzle - Brain Gym is a great tool for those who want to continue to stimulate their minds all the while passing some downtime. Not only is the game kid friendly, but adults can find the game useful too.
My Opinions on what could make the game better:
Although the game is educational and fun, I feel that more theatrics could be used.Things such as:
Different colors within each section. I believe this is needed because it would be more eye catching to the player(s) instead of the same monotone colors for each equation.
More festive “congratulation” messages when the equation is solved and achieved by the player. It would give the player even more reason to strive to get the equation solved, everyone likes recognition, right?
Maybe an option to play with friends? Online play is something that younger generations are gravitating toward because playing games with others as opposed to just yourself is always a fun time. It would also cause the game to get more word of mouth which is always nice for marketing.
All in all, the game is a nice play and I hope this review somewhat persuades those who are unsure about the game to just go ahead and download it to give it a try.
This is the first math game that I have ever played. First off, I like to start with the concept of the game. It is a math game but it was super fun. It was very interactive and friendly, and the color scheme was very nice. The game was easy to understand and navigate. The levels are not too hard in the beginning in my opinion. As the game continues, they do get more challenging. That was nice because it helped me refresh my memory of math. I love math and this game is going to be one of the apps I turn to when my brain needs a challenge.
As someone who enjoys brain teasers and puzzles, I found this game to be both fun and challenging. The game makes you use your logical thinking to reach a solution using basic math equations (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
The game is simple, easy to learn and great for improving arithmetic skills or just exercising your brain. It is user friendly and straightforward.
As you level up and face new challenges I was glad to have the hint option to help me overcome the more challenging levels I was getting stuck on.
I highly recommend this game if you are someone who enjoys challenging your mind and keeping your brain in tip top shape.
