Just What I’ve Been Looking For
Finally, someone has created a really useful app for boaters! It has everything you may want. It’s easy to enter information about every aspect of your boat including a logbook. Support is immediate and helpful. Not that you’re going to need much of it. A big question is how can this be free? I shouldn’t ask that but am because it has all the benefits of what you might ask for in a paid app.

Great App!
Downloaded this app last week and started populating everything from my boat data, maintenance history and future tasks. This is a great app to consolidate all records and future maintenance tasks. Would highly recommend.
Promising But Needs Work
I really want to like this app. It's got a ton of potential. Unfortunately, I just can't bring myself to switch from MaintainX just yet, despite this app being free (vs $20/mo for MaintainX).
First, the app should default to the "Tasks" view, since that's what the vast majority of users are using it for. What percentage of users need to open the app and then choose which of their many boats they're interested in managing that day?
Adding tasks is cumbersome. If I click on the "My Tasks" tab, I get a nice list of my tasks...but no way to add one. For that I have to go back and choose a boat, then choose "Tools" and then choose "Tasks" and THEN I can add one. Don't make me think that hard.
Additionally, I can't add all the necessary details when creating a task. Why make me create a task with only a name and due date, and then have to save it, reopen it, and select "Edit" to add recurrence? Aren't most tasks on a yacht preventative and therefore recurring on some schedule? Again: don't make me think that hard. Offer all the task details on first creation.

Why do I have to assign each step in a Checklist to a user? The steps should be part of a list that will be part of a task that will be assigned to a user - that way a recurring task with a list of steps can be easily created. I don't want to have to remember to complete a Checklist every X days.

I liked the look and feel of this but a number of things didn’t seem to work like due date and then the app would freeze so I gave up
Fantastic App
After 2 years cruising on our 2019 Carver C40 Command Bridge (FB Patrick and Danas Big Adventure) completing the Loop - visiting the Bahamas and cruising FL and the Keys there are some App’s that just make cruising safer- better and simpler. Recently at the boat show in Tampa happened upon Capt. John and his wife, creator’s of YachtWave - asked lot’s of questions while @ their booth and decided to give the App a try - Previously tracking - provisions, parts inventories, boat projects and maintenance on notes on my Apple Devices - Oh My Goodness - It’s like John was reading my mind - this App is incredibly intuitive and exactly what I had imagined as a solution when I was spending time on “Notes” checking and unchecking- backspacing and retyping- Dana and I both share access to the information in the application- provisioning and grocery list updates as we use the eggs or butter? - Hey how many pencil zincs do we have and where are they? When is the next Oil Change due and when completed do we have supplies on board for the next one - Really this App is for you if you boat - Try it, no kidding!
