Great game ruined by ads
This is honestly my first game review ever. I downloaded 6 different Spades apps from the app store. The simplicity of the UI design along with decent AI players and the lack of shops shoved in my face make this my favorite Spades app out of all the ones I tested.
Why the 1 star then? Because there is no way to opt out of forced ads. There is always an ad at the bottom of the screen, then an ad after every round (not every game, every round!).
Like other reviews have stated, please just add a hard cash option to remove ads. $2, $5, $10….something!Show lessjasegambit
Illogical AI Partner Play
When I go NIL, even a novice Spades partner would know better than to lead a low card unless they have to. My AI partner frequently does this, causing me to inadvertently win a book. The next book, they end up throwing the higher card of the same suit. It just does not make sense. They’ll also often trump me when I already have the book won, and they’ve met their bid already. A real player would throw off. This has also caused me to not meet my bid way too many times. I get that the app wants to throw realistic situations at live players, but such bumbling play by my AI partner has caused me to lose a lot of games.Show lessGigaWhat
Absolutely not!
I wanted to share my thoughts on playing this game. The gameplay is enjoyable and the graphics are decent, but the constant ads really ruin the experience. It's frustrating that there's no way to opt out of them, even with a purchase or subscription. The frequent ads disrupt the flow of the game, making it more annoying than fun. I would have rated it higher if there was an option to remove the ads. Until then, it's tough to fully enjoy what could have been a great game. It’s no and delete for me.Show lessRufus T. Qube
