  • I try to use about twice a year and give up

I can never get it to work or show any information whatsoever
  • Doesn’t update

Better off just using the website. The app doesn’t update until much later.
  • Used to be better

    Notifications would be nice…again
  • Not updated

No timely updates for fields or games at Johnson County Rec. We got to field knowing rain coming but no updates. It is now hours later, severe storms moving through and app still says “It’s a Go!” 🙄what good is a rainout line that was updated 4 days ago?
  • Great app with even more potential

All of the information in this app comes from your local parks. That includes the list of parks and any change in status. The huge benefit of this service over the one our parks dept. used to use is that you get the current field status.

The other service only notifies you (text or email) when the status changes. That means you have to be subscribed before the latest update goes out. I’m writing this review because I was trying to check the status of an away game on a field that uses the other service.

Maybe this app should subscribe to all of the possible rain out companies and create one spot to check any field status. That feature plus a calendar option would be awesome.

  • Sad app with some potential

An app to provide status updates could have a lot of potential but it is seriously lacking right now. Within my area, only one county uses to report on the status of trails and parks. It does not allow user to filter dirt trails for mountain bikes from paved trails (neither the surface nor the activity: MTB, road cycling, hiking or walking). A “yellow” status on paved trail is completely uninformative. More widespread use by other counties or jurisdictions would be helpful as well as filtering capabilities by the type of activity in the trails.
