Reviews of OSSAA Golf

  • Paywalls for parents

After paying $30 for the season ticket to watch my child’s scores, I am now expected to pay $20 to have access to Regionals and State. Disappointing when so many other golf tours allow parent access to follow scores as part of the registration. App has crashed at least 4 times during tournaments this year, poor navigation, overall very negative experience.
  • Not user friendly

This is not user friendly for the kids trying to input their scores. Especially when it freezes up every time. It is slowing down pace of play.

Can we get a simple back button instead of having to go all the way out of an area and then all the way back in to get to another portion? I understand things are going to take time to get used to, but it could definitely be more robust than this!
  • Massive Bust

This app is absolutely poor. Event creation and roster management cannot be done in the app. Time to input scores and navigate the odd layout slows pace of play and adds confusion to players in the round. And a paywall for parents? Wow. I’m sure someone is getting paid on the paywall parents have to pay to view their players’ scores which is why I suspect this was chosen. We can and should do better.
