Leave a Review Solid Calendar
Privacy scam?
First I have to pay $5 for the app with no trial. Ok. But then it won’t even let me use the app without creating an account with a 3rd party web site?
Forget it. My calendar data is on my phone already, there is no reason to ship it off to a 3rd party site even if it is supposedly encrypted.
The account requirement isn’t even mentioned in the app description. Kinda shady.Show lessDeveloper Response
An account is now no longer required with the latest update (v2.43). I have taken into account feedback from the community and updated Solid Calendar to work without a Solid Apps account. This account was only used to sync a few small preferences. Your events and reminders were always local and no data is collected or shared, but I do understand your concerns and have made the necessary changes. I hope you will give Solid Calendar another chance, and if there is anything else I can help with, please reach out any time to hello@solidapps.coYes it’s Solid
Solid, simple and straightforward. Kind of refreshing. Would love to see a unique Apple Watch complication. The Diary app is also exceptional!Just bought
So far I love it 👍Your inner self, done right
I just signed up for this app, and I’m excited as to this prospect of what could do for someone like me who is in the constant battle with discipline and time management in order to achieve my goals. The interface is fantastic. I downloaded the bundle, and I’m excited to jump into all of it.Stopped working
After last update it just crashes every time I try and use it. Why are there so many updates? It was working fine.Developer Response

So far, fantastic. Simple, elegant, very functional. As a result quick to use, less actions, who can ask for more? Not sure about this app
This is a calendar app. Why do I need an account to use it? I have enough accounts without creating a new new one for no reason.
Also, why is there no information about the developer?Developer Response
Solid Calendar no longer requires an account. Thank you for your feedback. I'd love it if you would give Solid Calendar another chance. There have also been several new features added since you last tried it. If there is any information I can share about the privacy policy or Solid Apps that you couldn't find on the website or privacy page, please don't hesitate to reach out to hello@solidapps.coA beautiful minimal calendar app with no subscription.
I can’t believe I’m leaving a review on calendar. What drew me to this app the very minimal and clean look for it and the fact that it has no subscription and is a one time purchase was an instant buy. I ended up buying the bundle because I want to support developers that still offer a one time purchase so thank you.Show lessWidgets subpar
Widgets do not match the design of the app, seems as if they were an afterthought. There should be a widget that gives you a list of upcoming events for several months as in the app.Developer Response
Hello and thank you for the feedback. There are 4 different widgets at various sizes that were designed to work well given the smaller size and update frequency. However I'd be happy to add more widgets. Would you mind telling me more about what you have in mind? You can reach out any time at hello@solidapps.coGreat bundle of Apps
What an amazing bundle of apps. I never get an app with any subscriptions so to find these apps for a one off payment is brilliant. Honestly not sure how much I will use the notes app as I use an alternative. The apps are really well thought through and I love the minimalism of the diary and the calendar apps. It would be great to have a minimalist widget for the following day as well as the current day. It would also be useful to have the option of having calendar items crossed out rather than disappear when they hit their start time on the widgets. Fantastic work so far.Show less
