I don’t know why anyone would complain about spending $5.99 for such a great game. It has a very clever plot, unique experiences with interesting characters. The game gets better as you play especially when you meet Daring Andrew Collins. All the puzzles are different but never ridiculously hard like a similiar developer of Hidden Object mysteries (…Bin). And just when you think it’s ending, it keeps going! Loved it!

Normally I can play these from start to finish on expert mode without hints. The extreme difficulty detracts from the game play.

Loved it so much that Halfway thru the game, I paused to go download all the other Wanderlust. They were all quality, but none as great as this one. (The stories are standalone, so don’t worry if you haven’t played the others)
**If you play one Hidden Object Game this year, make it this one!**
(If there’s ever a Wanderlust 5, all I can say is it better have Collins)

I imagine it looks amazing on an iPad! But the puzzles lacked depth and creativity, and I skipped several that were repetitive and just kind of dumb, and there weren’t enough of them. For this reason I don’t think the game is worth the money. The scenes looked as if they’d be brimming with interesting things to search for, but then you’d just need to find three or four things, and you moved on.
I’m not a huge fan of character dialogue, and like that there’s an option to turn it off. But it took too long to get through it and didn’t add much to the story. And there were just too many characters altogether.
So, you’re buying a lovely picture book. But it’s not really worth it.

Cameo appearances of characters from other games (Elsa, Victor and Julie) were an excellent throwback. I would caution that anyone with vertigo, as I have, may find the trampoline mini game a tad more challenging as the movement can cause some dizziness. There’s no skip for it, so best to go a bit slower and limit too much looking around. All in all it’s a solid game and of course the Collins bonus is loads of fun. He really needs his own full length game as the leading character.
