MysteriousSymbol and map F3

Was really enjoying this until this problem cropped up. It is impossible to line the map up with the symbol. Wathched the walkthrough on YouTube but it is not possible on iOS as the symbol and the map have different scales. Bizarre - reloaded it and worked 1st time. Good game - sand is good too.

Thanks! We are happy you could complete the game and enjoyed it!

Sweet game

It’s solid! Fun and engaging

Water room

Lost with anything to click/use to work the above door mechanism in the water room. Pretty much stuck solid.

Response from developer

Swim to the floor of the room and click the buttons in the order shown by the dots on the flowers.

Bugs

Impossible to solve the petal puzzle with the water filling the room.

Response from developer

Hi Norm norm. Seems that puzzle is a bit difficult and some users are stuck. Please consider the first button at the top as 1, moving clockwise click 2-3-5-1. Good luck!

Hi, could you please share a capture? And let us know what device you used? Are yiu sure you are putting the symbol on the right map on the floor? Thousands of people completed the game already so i guess it works.

Unknown

Have you communication with the name you use as who?

Sorry, what do you mean?

Little care taken over facts

Didn’t get far. Supposed to be set in 1917.

WW1 was in full flow and there were hardly any students.

The opening letter has an anachronistic postcode. These were gradually introduced in the UK in the current form between 1966 and 1974. Definitely not around in 1917!

Peking, not Beijing, was the Anglicised version of the Chinese capital at the time. The city wasn’t officially known as Beijing until 1986.

Academic studies continued at Oxford in 1917, but the student population was greatly reduced due to World War. For the name of the city, I am afraid I am Italian and we just have one version that is "Pechino"...the translation was actually inaccurate considering the year but I could not know that English used two different worlds. And for the postcode, I totally see how it spoiled the game for you and you had to give us one star.

I love your work!!!❤️❤️❤️

I played Sand a while ago and absolutely adored it. I got so happy when I saw this in my recommended games. At the time I’m writing this, I haven’t fully played it, but I know it’s going to be great in every way. You are awesome and I love how you’ve crafted these stories. I can really tell you put your heart and soul into your games, and I appreciate the work you do. Keep it up!!!😁😁😁

Thanks! Your feedback is so nice... makes us want to make another game!

This was very good, but…

I’m afraid you’ve lost a star because China’s capital wasn’t known as Beijing until the 1990s; at the time the game was set it was Peking…sorry!

Beautiful game

The artwork is gorgeous and definitely hand drawn - not AI like a very rude reviewer accused. Great job!
