Just wish I had more hours in a week :,) I go to an Early College highschool and this app has figuratively saved my head on so many occasions.

We hope that helps.I have adhd and have a hard time taking notes and actually listening to a lecture at the same time. This is great for sitting and listening then reviewing later. Unfortunately, you need to pay for more time and sometimes summaries will be inaccurate, but there’s a transcript to look back at that’s been very useful for notes.
When I first got this app it was extremely new, I had only seen one review and now there are 50 reviews. I wish that theee were more reviews since this app is truly AMAZING. It has chat features, glossary, videos to understand the concepts, and so much more. I am currently using this for my organic chemistry 1 class and it is helping me a lot for my final. Amazing app. Would recommend to the world if I could .

Coming soon!This is probably such a convenient app to have as a student for lectures. It generates the recording into an outline, study guide, there’s even a glossary and links to videos based on the recording! 🤩
The only downfall that I recently figured out after using the app..there isn’t an option to be able to listen to that recording if you are recording directly through the app. I know there’s a transcript but I think it’d be helpful to also listen to the recording to work with the outline/study guide. I hope they’re able to come up with that as an option!
Also forgot to mention, every week you get 90mins free to use and refreshes each week which is really cool. Overall it’s a great app and I’d recommend to my other friends/classmates and if you don’t wanna type up a whole outline study guide this helps a lot :))))

Quick Update! Now you get 6 free hours of recording time per month (no weekly cap). And, you can always listen to the recording. tap on a QuickTake, tap on the "Live Recording" link at the top and listen to the full recording in multiple speeds, fast forward and go back to find specific parts of the recording!I’ve used this app to record on lectures and videos and it’s all normal, but when I open the app there was an error about the connection to tried again and still there. I’ve reinstalled the app again log in on google account and the message appeared and said to try again because of the connection. Could this be some bug to fixed the app?

Please reach out to us at Support@edkey.com and we can troubleshoot for you.I don’t really like this app. i recorded a 30 minutes lecture..only 30 min because we were watching a video and i stopped because i didn’t want notes on it and it said error and that there wasn’t enough information. and if won’t reload it just kept saying error…this app is great in theory not well executed. Don’t waste your time on it guys…

If you are recording a lecture while watching a video then the app cannot share the microphone on the same device. That is probably why you received an error. Please reach out to us at support@edkey.com and we can trouble shoot for you!None of my notes are populating and everything comes up blank! This app is really a waste of time. I only gave it 2 stars because the ideal of the app is great other than that this app is FRIED!

We understand your concerns about a paid portion of QuickTakes. We will always offer a free version and give all users 90 weekly minutes at no charge. This allows us to continue offering and improve the app. We're developing new ways to earn free minutes and launching other subscription options soon - for a couple of Starbucks a month, our users get a wealth of learning resources. As a recent college grad and now working professional, I’ve found QuickTakes both professionally and personally useful, even for something as simple as listening to a YouTube video about cooking or a podcast that had some terminology you want to remember. The accuracy has blown me away and I have had a seamless experience so far with the app.
If only I had this in college! I know that both when I was attending class in person and when I was doing it virtually during COVID, this tool would’ve helped me look up from my notes and engage in classroom discussion more.
