Love games you get to build and customize a small army that can get crazy strong if built properly. This does one better as most similar games you chose a core units to lead and focus all growth materials on the cores but as the non-core units in this game still use their basic attacks, regular skills, summons, equipment and enhancement effects it’s not rare to have super buff side units as the only difference is core units get to use ultimate skills.
It’s so refreshing to play a mobile game that doesn’t try to milk every dollar out of you and the few paid options that exist are few, simple and cheap.
Story is pretty decent with extra points for having storyline for each character that isn’t just blank text box. New stuff at endgame is a really good mixup to the standard gameplay established. Music is standard. Karma system is really fun. Customization is really good.
Would love to see a flipped script where you commanded the humans attacking the witches with their side starting with a ton of karma you manage for summoning classes, evolving classes and special skill. All damage calculates factors such as elemental type, flying or ground units, physical and magical defenses, this makes elemental types play a bigger role these extra calculations make it so their is no one perfect strategy. You keep whatever karma is left over at the end. Depending on what witches your fighting decides on how you fight wether you send your armies in waves or a constant stream, when to use classes to tank certain witch skills or hold back hiring classes or using classes that specialize in avoid certain witch elements or range, using your chosen saint as a meat shield leading your army, a glass cannon that hides behind your army or a support unit that aids. Lots of cool things can be done here.
Lastly super fun game and will definitely be looking at other games made by this developer once I finish up with this one.
Pretty good idle combat game with an intriguing story. Despite some weirdly translated phrases, the pacing is pretty good for the main story, never overstaying itself to a boring extent. There are also individual character stories you can view at your leisure.
The forced ads are not overly frequent, and appear at predictable times. There are options to occasionally skip some of the games grind via. ads as well, which I appreciate if I have to watch ads anyway.
My one issue so far has been, even with the audio settings at “0”, certain sounds still play during combat, which is annoying if I want to listen to a podcast or other music while playing.
Now that it was updated to English I have zero complaints. Look forward to future updates.
