  • Broken App - Charged Multiple Times for HOV Lane Usage

    The new app does not always submit your HOV declarations, so even if you follow the rules by having 3+ passengers and register your vehicle 15 minutes in advance, you may still be billed the rate as if you were a solo traveler.

    I’ve had this happen to me multiple times and have contacted NC Quick Pass via email, online form, and phone to dispute the fees. Each time the dispute has been denied without comment. On top of that, the claims take up to 30 days to review and you accrue additional fees during the review period.

    When I asked how I can confirm that my declaration from the app was received by NC Quick Pass to avoid future fees, the supervisor said she was not sure and suggested I no longer use the app and instead call to declare my status or purchase a different transponder and avoid using the app.

    I would avoid using this app unless you’re okay with late surprise bills.

When using the HOV functionality, please make sure to select the transponder you plan to use for travel and make sure you set your HOV status at least 15 minutes before you travel.   • App is just trash

    I followed the sign up process and it shows me there’s an error. Tried to reset the password and it shows me reset is success but when I tried to login, it says login invalid. Tried to pay directly there’s again another error. Holy this app is trash so it’s your website so is your database

  • Terrible first impressions

    Somehow my wife got this to work on her phone, but attempting to create an account in the app, in a browser (3 different times over the course of three days), and on a different device resulted in errors and failures every time. Then, when trying again, it would prevent me from using previous usernames, because even though it errored out, it registered my proposed usernames (though using the forgot password feature still resulted in it not recognizing it).
