Greatness!
I can’t recommend this app enough! This app made by the Living.Fit team has completely changed my workout routine and brought a new level of excitement to my fitness journey.
The app is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It’s extremely easy to find a workout or workout program that fits my goals and schedule.
What sets Living.Fit apart is their customer service. One of my workout programs was not showing in my account so I reached out to them via email and they had the issue resolved within a few hours. If you have any issues or suggestions, their team will get you taken care of right away!User Input Is Lost Important
I’ve been using LivingFit for a little over a year and the effort they’ve put into this app is AWESOME. They will listen to any complaint or suggestion and have made it work in the app. The content and interface are also great as well! Can’t wait to see what they do with it next as they’ve been adding a lot of programs both full and individualDeveloper Response
Thanks for your feedback. We understand the importance of building an app and experience based on what our users want and will continue to always do this! You can always reach out to info@living.fit with ideas or suggestions as well as fill out our in app surveys. Not ready for Paid Subscriptions
This is all app feedback. The content is great, the instructors are great, I’m just frustrated paying for something that doesn’t feel ready. Call it a beta, collect feedback from a small pool of users, but don’t charge yet because it’s just not worth a subscription. Most of these are minor frustrations but I hit them so often that I’m ready to bounce off the app and Living Fit for good.
1. The workout generator doesn’t work (shows “do not have permission to generate workout”).
2. I often have to navigate backwards or forwards in a workout. If I want to repeat a section or need more time to arrange my equipment for the next exercise, I’ll navigate backwards. But this will show a rest period and then the following exercise will actually be the next one. In other words, I navigate back to the rest period instead of to the previous exercise. If I navigate twice, you’d think that would take me to the exercise I want to restart but it does not; the order gets even more confusing. Create some kind of queue for all sections of the workout, including rest periods, and make navigation better.
If I want to navigate forward, the AI voice that calls out time will read out every single time for each section skipped instead of resetting to the “current” exercise.
3. Offline mode is not a selling point, as I should not have to turn my phones cellular or wifi connection off to have a good experience. If the workout is available offline, there should be in-app logic to set the app to offline or default to reading stored data.
4. When I navigate from a plan to a day’s workout then back to the workout plan page, it reloads that plan view every time even though I was just there. This adds friction and time to trying to figure out what I want to do.
5. I’d like to pin workout plans to some kind of hub so that I don’t have to load a list of workouts, sift through them, pick one, let it load, open a day of the plan to consider it, let that load, then navigate back (another load) and back (another load) to find another plan. There is so much loading in this app when convenience and a minimal time to usability should be the priority.
6. Create a connection between a section of exercise and the exercise in the library. If I’m in a workout and don’t understand something, I have to leave it, load the plan, find the workout library, find the exercise I want information about, watch a video there, then navigate back. Lots of time lost in this process.Developer Response
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. It looks like your feedback is based on the first week we released the app. If this was your first time interacting with our company, we regret any inconvenience you experienced. We were very vocal in emails to users of our existing browser experience as well as in emails for new users who just purchased that the app was in its first stages and ALL the features you mentioned were being added. As of early December 2023, all the features you mentioned are included in the app. As you probably know, when you first create an app it requires some evolution as well as user testing and feedback, it looks like you tried the app while it was in that stage and we apologize if you missed our messaging about this. Please email info@living.fit with any additional feedback or concerns.
