Just a advertising app
Needs lots of refinement to become useful. Why do I have to scroll through the whole day’s events to see what time the last race is. Also filtering by events would be very useful
Appalling app
Had a fantastic day at this years British GP. But the Silverstone app is truly appalling. It’s just a glossy over hyped advert for the music and other events with no real info on what we went for, the F1. No info on where to pick up the radio headsets, very limited info on the other racing events, not even connected to the tickets (they are in a separate app ???). A waste of space on my phone.

About as much use as the second half of the countdown clock…
Doesn’t work once you get on site, doesn’t cache the stuff you have looked at previously (eg time tables)

Absolutely useless
At British GP for last 3 days and haven’t been able to access the app once, yet they can still send me notifications about upgrades!
Buggy
Firstly, why do I need to create an account? It’s completely unnecessary therefore I just fill out bogus information to prevent data gathering. Secondly, it’s got lots of bugs, particularly if you scroll quickly on the Timetable, it simply crashes you out.
Do the App developers think this is a music festival or a Formula 1 racing event?
This App is full of information about music, food, the museum and promotional goods, but the timetable of all the actual racing activity is hidden at the bottom of the page behind a tiny logo.
Also, why do we have to sign up to Silverstone to use it? We’ve already paid a fortune to be here (July 2024).

Does not work, goes back to sign up page after making an account and trying to login.
App won’t update
Great while it worked which was on the Wednesday then Thursday needed to update it and it hasn’t worked.
I’ve deleted reinstalled and tried to update didn’t work .
In the end got a paper copy from the circuit (only giving out one for each day to save paper would have been better surly to do the whole 4 day’s)

Crashes & needs to cache timetables & map
Timetable crashes once I to around the 35th event.
The fact this needs to load every time you open the app is problematic. Especially when you can struggle to get connectivity at the circuit.

Very light in information (e.g. what is an eBay prize event?), but then….. no-one will be able to use the app during the weekend anyway (due to internet dependency). App closes constantly as you scroll through the events calendar. Hate having to create a 3rd user account (as others have already said).
