This is a superb all-in-one family organization app! Calendars, to-do lists, etc are all here and easy to use. The best parts are the ability to delegate tasks to specific family members, and being able to simply forward emails to the app and have them auto-magically show up in your calendar with the relevant details already filled in. Easy setup and import makes trying this a no brainer!
As a working mom with two non-stop ever changing teenage schedule’s to deal with and a husband whose schedule is just as nuts, we needed something ANYTHING to help wrangle us into organization submission!!! My friend told me about JAM and while it sounded amazing, I was worried I couldn’t actually figure out how to use it. I’m the least technical person on the planet and a complete creature of habit with my paper planner. Still, I have it a shot. This app is beyond easy to use and with all four of us signed up, everyone knows what’s happening at all times. No more, “Mom, what time is my haircut again?” or “Nobody told me I had SAT prep today!!!” or “Did we get a gift for so-and-so’s bday and what’s the address?!?”…it’s alllllllll there in the shared family calendar. Really an outstanding and simple way to lessen the schedule stresses!!!!
When I first heard about the JAM Family Calendar app I thought it might be too good to be true but it’s proven to be a game changer. I’ve been using JAM for a little while now and and love the ease of having all the complexities of family life— calendar, to do lists, and shopping lists —all integrated and all in one place! That alone is worth the initial effort of learning to navigate and interact with all the cool features even though the app is very user friendly, intuitive and easy to set up. I love toggling back and forth between the tabs for the calendar, to do lists, and shopping lists, and it feels so good to click off an item and watch it disappear! I don't usually write reviews but this one is too good not to share!
My husband and I have been using Jam and it’s made a huge difference in how we coordinate our lives. He doesn’t ask me a million times a day what is happening this weekend or what to get from the store anymore! Even if you don’t have kids, it’s great to have shopping lists, to do lists, and calendars all in one. I also love how it syncs with multiple calendars from multiple sources. So far so good!
Jam is a great family calendar but after using it for a few months, I can honestly say it’s so much more than that! I especially love the shopping lists feature. My partner and I have lists for Costco, Trader Joe’s, and Target—making errands easy for either of us to handle. Another thing I didn’t think would be such a game changer but is—color coding for each family member! Now I can very clearly see which activities are for which person in our family, including our kids or family activities in which we will all participate. I cannot recommend this app enough!
I cannot recommend this app enough. Finally, there is a way for my husband and I to fully be on the same page with our crazy schedules and to-do lists. Not only can we both now clearly see the events coming up for each child, who is going, and what we need to bring, it is SO user friendly and easy to use! One of the things I love the most is the way I can forward an invitation to the jam email address, and it is automatically added CORRECTLY to our shared calendar. My husband and I both love this app and are so much more organized. And truly, I am not all that tech savvy, and it was so simple signing up and getting going - the day to day is so accessible. I love the fact that I can just forward emails with event details to Jam, and it puts them in my calendar for me! I hate having to sit there typing all my events into my calendar, so this feature is amazing. I was finding that so many apps that are supposed to make my life easier were actually adding more steps to my day or giving me more things I had to check and coordinate. Jam is ACTUALLY easy to use and really helps me cut out things I was wasting my time on.
Is it possible to be a calendar junkie? As someone who juggles multiple personal and work calendars, I’ve used countless apps and productivity tools, but found it ridiculous that I had to use the same generic Google and iCal for my family.
Jam is made for families and built with the same level of professionalism and organizational thinking I’ve come to expect in workplace platforms.
Where most calendars stop at when is the event, Jam shows who needs to be there, what you need to bring, who’s driving, picking-up, and what to-do you need to finish ahead of time. Now it’s not all my wife to know what’s going on. It’s all there for me to see and handle too.

Others are out there, but this one has it all! Calendars for each family member INCLUDING PICK UP/DROP OFF needs. Shopping lists available on both mine and my husband so he can add things instead of saying “we’re out of (ketchup)”. It’s clean. It’s detailed. Its user friendly. It’s made my life so much better. Instead of everything swirling in my head, I put all the needed info into Jam!
My wife and I are finally aligned, synced up, and on the same page with our schedules. I now know when she’s taking yoga, she knows when my work meetings are, which one of us has yard duty at our kids school, when the St Patty’s school assignment is due, when their school play rehearsal is, soccer practice, piano lessons, speech therapy! Jam has created an effortless and less stressful opportunity to organize our everyday lives so we don’t miss out or show up 2 hours late to our daughter’s classmate’s birthday party (happened 3 times last year), or forget to bring snacks to our son’s soccer game. We were always using separate calendars until now. I was the Apple calendar guy and my wife used Google calendars. I can honestly say Jam is lightyears better and more user friendly than both of those calendars combined. Crazy that it’s taken this long for someone to figure this out!! We are obsessed!!
