No Video in my purchases
I purchased the beginner French lessons but I see no video content, as promised in the first sample lesson. The corresponding text file is not for Lesson Three, but rather a repeat of Lesson Two material. It would be fine if it included the promised resources.Fjevjijde
App barely works.
The podcast stops playing if your phone goes into sleep and it won’t let you switch languages. As of right now the app doesn’t work properly and is not worth your time.ken Burnz

The material is good but the app is horrible. You can’t drag the slider to skip forward or back in a lesson, you can’t let it run in the background, it’s clunky. Hire a college kid to fix thisChrisapplereview

What a scam. Didn’t get what I paid for.
I only wanted this app so I could learn Chinese. I bought the all lessons pack of CHINESE and the title of the packs says that. Sure. Tell me why the lessons are for Spanish. I click on a lesson and it’s Spanish.
I’ve emailed to report a problem at least three times and have not gotten one response. If there’s no Chinese lessons, fine. If there is something wrong with my version of the app, someone answer my emails and help me fix it. I’d rather have the lessons than a refund. Worst comes to worst, just give me my refund.kjjjmua

Conceptually promising, disappointing in reality
This app seems like a good alternative to the gamified language apps out there, but unfortunately you only get 1 lesson free and the app functionality is buggy at best. It would be tolerable if there was at least a free version.kibbydeaux13
I wish I could rate it higher but..
I do really like the app, it only takes a listen or two to pick up the phrases.
The only issues are that I use it while driving or cooking but the app doesn’t play if I close it or my phone turns off the way other podcast and entertainment apps do.
Alongside that, if I listen to half of the audio and plan to listen to the rest later. Even if the progress says I’m 35% through it’ll shoot me back to the beginning.
Otherwise pretty decent I just wish I could actually use it on my downtime or when I have a minute without having to constantly tap it back on and then it reloadClownCarTechnician

this app is fake it’s not authorized by the people who made coffe break language. If you buy somthing in app it will give you the lesson but not the material that is supposed to come with it like it said. I purchased something at the time I didn’t know it wasn’t official so I’m out of $40 currently and put in a refund with apple and they said it will come through in 48 hours so hopefully it will work so I can get my money back 😭Cheeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz
