How?
Not a review but more so how could I possibly eve get that last gold I need in the very far bottom right of map that’s underneath dirt and a safe. It seems to be nearly impossible as I just die right away :(

Hold the B button down while moving the joystick to dig in that direction without moving.
Few things more annoying than hijacking audio…
When an app hijacks background audio, like pausing a PiP video and such, that’s when I write a review. This isn’t a review. It’s a note for other users that this retro 8 bit pixel game really need you to get immersed in its basic audio so much, that it causes background things to pause repeatedly. It’s not an impossible thing to avoid doing so. Many, many, many games have avoided not hijacking my iPad’s audio. So stop it and I’ll rereview this game based on the merits of an 8 bit girl digging, which is an observable regularity in my world. Girls, always digging. So much so you have to yell, “Hey! You there girl! Where are you digging to? There’s no gold in my back yard!” Good for them having a hobby.

Classic Boulder Dash Action! 5 Stars For One Fix
So good! Captures the feel and look of one of my favorite C64 games ever. Well done! The water mechanics are terrific, too. I’m just SO excited to play it. But. The control pad. Very fiddly, sometimes yes, sometimes not at all, having to restart a lot because this time, my thumb wasn’t in exactly the right spot to make a dog leg away from falling debris. Maybe a d-pad, and an option for putting it in the middle? May have to try with my controller, but a fix like this would make it an instant 5-star retro experience for me. Good job!
