I want this game to succeed, but I’m not going to hold back with my criticisms, which I hope will help the developers. So, this is actually a demo, not a full game, something the store page needs to make clearer, and this demo’s pretty rough around the edges.
The platforming section in the tower in the first (and only) level is a nightmare because the ceilings are too low, so you’re constantly bonking your head and messing up your jumps, and the jump button itself doesn’t work like it should, sometimes obeying your inputs and sometimes outright ignoring them. Sometimes (not just in the tower section) when you jump, you keep floating in midair; I found that pressing jump again lets you fall like you should.
Finally, the main character’s running animation doesn’t always work like it should. Without any warning, he’ll take his stationary pose, but he’ll still slide in the direction he’s facing as long as you hold the direction button down. (This has only happened to me when I tried moving right. I don’t know if it happens when you try moving left.) This issue doesn’t hurt the gameplay itself, but it does make the game look very unpolished.
