Ethnicity erased
First of all the entire app is ridiculous , it doesn’t just change the pupils, it lifts the entirety of the orbit of the eye and the nose, my amazingly well made nose, bump and all were straightened, which by the way I spent my youth begging my parents for a nose job only to be ever so gratefully ignored, but I digress, this app gave me a perfectly straight nose and not only that but the eyes it replaced with mine looked older, had hooded eyelids and looked tired. This app is supposed to be about the eye itself, but it changes more than that, it seems to erase ethnicity from the equation. Not good!

Can only open/edit female eyes with eyelashes and makeup in the free version.
Adds makeup?
I tried to use this on a photo of my 6 year old boy and it added makeup and eyelashes … not effective at all
What happened to the eyes swap algorithm?!
I loved this app. But there seemed to be an update to the eyes swap algo- it used to naturally blend in the eyes. But now the result looks like I’m bleeding out of my eyes. What happened?
Eyes not mine
I was switching eyes with a different picture to open my eyes, and I set them in place and waited for it to generate. My photo generated and I was wearing gold I makeup and I had brown eyes that in fact were NOT mine, keep in mind I have blue eyes. I tried multiple times to fix the photo but everything I did looked the exact same, horrible!

Looks ridiculous
First I used the AI Generation to try to fix my daughter’s closed eyes in an important graduation photo, it looked cartoonishly ridiculous, even as a tiny thumbnail you could immediately see the eyes looked like someone had used a joke image editor. Then I used the Face Swap solution, which is semi-manual. You pick the other photo, and by hand translate and rotate each eye as an overlay, then the app does some ‘magic’ and you get a photo. I had taken other shots and so was able to get some eyes that worked with a little resizing and tilting. It looked okay. I tried to download the result, but the app then went into ‘magic’ mode, and messed it up, giving it a completely bizarre look. Waste of money. I guess they get by on everyone paying $5.99 and then canceling. Not a bad business.

Does not work with Men
Purchased the app to fix a man portrait, and the only options were women’s eyes w overly done mascara / lashes.

Rip-off
I thought this would be a cool app where you take pictures of people and it shows you a selection of faces and you can make the person in the picture have different looks. Or you can use an eraser tool to crop out the hair and you give them different hairstyles. I will say it had a good step-by-step tutorial on how to do it, but when I finished and I pressed the ‘generate’ button it took 6 minutes to load and my phone got very hot and crashed because of the amount of space it took up to load the picture. Also, most of the tools were pro and I had to watch a minute-long ad to simply get a brown eye colour. It also costed £49.99 a month to have pro so I deleted the app immediately because it kept sending me spam and junk mail and it kept sending me emails saying, “would you like to upgrade to pro and get loads more tools? Start your subscription today!” I would not recommend this app for budding graphic design artists who want to hone their design skills. There are plenty of other good apps and resources available for beginners and experienced graphic designers.
