I kinda just rambled and wrote down some ideas

Things I’d like to see: Improved bowler rotations, especially in white-ball cricket. Issues with CPU bowling rotations: In one-day matches, the CPU often bowls a bowler for 10 consecutive overs, which is unrealistic. The rotation of three bowlers simultaneously, as seen in Mark Wood, Harry Brook, and Adil Rashid example, doesn't reflect real cricket. Spinners are rarely bowled in later overs of white-ball matches, affecting realism. In red-ball cricket, the CPU hesitates to bowl spin, even on spinning pitches. Fast bowlers are not rested leading into the second new ball, and there's confusion between part-timers and frontline bowlers, like Matthew Kuhnemann and Mitchell Swepson in a first-class game. How to fix: Implement pre-determined bowling rotations, improve CPU intelligence, and add rules for the CPU. Different rotations for various bowler combinations, with set rules for the white-ball format (e.g., not bowling the 1st and second over bowler between overs 65 and 80). Feature I’d like to see: Introduce bowler archetypes similar to batting aggression. Bowler archetypes could include: Pace Bowler Archetypes: Swing/Seam: More effective with the new ball (e.g., James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Jason Behrendorff). Death Bowler: Effective in all overs, harder to hit during death overs, excels at following plans (e.g., Chris Jordan, Tom Curran, Andrew Tye). Speedster: Slightly more effective with the new ball, best in short spells in red-ball cricket, can be expensive in white-ball cricket (e.g., Mark Wood, Shaun Tait, Alzzari Joseph). Spin Bowler Archetypes: Mystery Spinner: Spins the ball both ways, effective against batsmen with a strong pace bowling preference (e.g., Mujeeb Ur Rahman). Tweaker: Spins the ball significantly more than other spinners (e.g., Shane Warne). These archetypes could be combined (e.g., Mitchell Starc falling under both speedster and swing/seam bowler archetypes).

Also, make normal mode normal or change the name to hard. I’m convinced it’s physically impossible to win a t20 on normal difficulty.

Money

It is a great game but you have to pay to keep playing which is kind of ridiculous

A request for more customisation options

Hello , I think the game is fantastic but I would love the ability to create my own leagues and tournaments too add to career mode with my own created players to truly personalise my playing experience. I would also like to see the ability to completely remove formats from certain career modes so they are not played at all across the board if I don’t want to play a certain format. My third request is that we are able to control associate nations and try to gain test status in career mode. Thank you.

Don’t waste your money

Almost feels as though they lure you in for the free trial, playing good cricket then you buy it and all that changes. Trying to play a defensive batting strategy and my players are playing reverse scoop shots, every time it seems I’m just about to get back into a match, for example having got to 200-0 then proceed to go 130-9 as if the pitch and weather has changed instantly. It’s unrealistic. Loads of potential but unplayable in its current state, and that’s without even going into detail for the white ball modes, even worse. Wish I could get a refund.

Cricket

When does Cricket Captain 2024 come out ?

I wish it was free

At the moment I give this game a 1 star because it’s not free but it is a great I would give this game 5 stars if it was free I really wish I can play it but sadly it’s not free

Bazball Ruined This Game

Played this game since Ps1, noticed it in every game u play even if it’s Ireland vs Zim. Bowlers running at 8 an over in test matches is ridiculously. Even England in real life only did that againts Pakistan’s. tested the gam Aust vs India in test champs on every settin ve to norm. Hazelwood went for at best 6 an over and Lyon at best 8s. Against India in England is a joke at best. I know it’s a Pom making this game but having a aust team batting at three stars with Smith and Marnus top 5 test, and head, Warner, uzzie top 30 is a joke.

Also 6 youth players for aust cricket a year. There is a minimum 11 coming from each state time to up Aussie youth being that the aussies are the best in the world .

Good game needs some work though

It’s a great game if you love cricket but some things I noticed is that some players all of a sudden just forget how to play cricket even though in real life there are amazing. Another thing you notice it doesn’t matter how set a player is if you try and up the aggression they will get out soon after. The last point I will make is that it’s basically the same game every year with a couple tweaks.

No development or detail

This game has so much potential. Stats are underwhelming from youth improvements to what makes a good leader - just to mention a few?! It’s jall guess work and hoping good players with good averages are produced. The graphics engine is laughable. The UI looks dated and messy. What a waste and what a shame. Save your money.

Version now unrealistic

Lovingly bought every year but this Bazball edition far too aggressive. I’ve just easily scored 264/3 on Normal in just a single morning session under very cloudy skies! Scores are all over the place, records constantly broken on a daily basis. Ireland beating Pakistan by 682 runs! Cricket doesn’t work like that. Very disappointed, so my advice, jump back on 18 to 22 like I have, they're far better, more realistic and loads more accurate.
