  • Extremely helpful and easy to use

    This app is awesome! It makes finding the right food super easy, especially if you have diet restrictions or food allergies. One of the toughest things about ordering food is figuring out which places have what you need, but this app does all the hard work for you. It quickly shows you the restaurants, the food, and its nutritional info. Love it!

  • App doesn’t work

    This app just flat out doesn’t work at all. It is not intuitive or user friendly at all and ultimately it fails at its intended purpose of finding restaurants that are allergy friendly. I put in that I had a severe fish allergy and when I finally made my way to the map that is supposed to show restaurants I can eat at, there were several sushi and poké restaurants on there. I believe it was just displaying every single restaurant in my area, regardless of my allergy selection

  • Good idea but not working yet

    I have been interested in this app for a long time as a celiac and tried this new version. It kept showing me no options and to change the filters and when I click discovery in filters there are restaurants but it keeps going back to make me change the filters when i go to the app. can’t easily browse on the map to easily switch places without saving a place. The places they did show were good though but no navigation or call option only add to cart and i had to go to google maps and search the address.

  • First experience

    Update: Honeycomb’s CEO reached out to me to discuss my experience and explained how things work with their partner. I appreciate the open and honest conversation. He told me they have a few things in the works to make the experience better. I look forward to trying Honeycomb again after the updates.

    As an early backer for this app it pains me to write this review. My first order started well and the app itself is good. There was a small issue when the order went through but I was not out of pocket so all good so far. They even followed up with a call and assured me food would arrive in a few minutes (just past the estimate). So far all good, then we go from bad to worse to unbelievable. Over the space of 90 minutes after my delivery estimate I’m continually told a driver is a minute away. They eventually admit deliveries are a 3rd party and they don’t know when deliveries will arrive, just keep waiting 1 minute. We now hit 10pm and the restaurant is closed and still no delivery. I decided to contact them the next day to resolve this and they say it was delivered but they can’t say when. They claim to investigate with a 3rd party and will get back to me shortly. They don’t respond so I contact them again (7 times now). I’m now told as it was marked as delivered there is nothing they can do and no refund. I’m sorry but I love the app concept, the handoff for whoever is handling fulfillment is extremely weak and ruined my experience. The customer service was even worse, I know it’s a new and small company but stock responses, lying to customers and offering no real support are not excusable for any company. Until they can work out these kinks I can advise people to browse menus for allergen advice and order from another app or the restaurant directly.

  • Great for Vegans

    I was eagerly waiting for this app as a vegan who has a hard time finding new options. Immediately I saw a bunch of options and they were indicators of which have vegan options. I managed to order and the food came smoothly.
