Doesn’t work

app is not good
Intriguing Concept, But Subpar Execution and Engagement
The biggest problem with the app for me is really just the lack of users. It feels kind of awkward putting myself out there when nobody else is on the app. I feel like that rings true with my friends, who also feel less inclined to get the app because nobody is on it. I feel like Omnii thrives on an active user community - the more people involved, the more engaging and fun it becomes. But without an active user community, the app just feels hollow and empty.
Secondly, I feel that there just are not a lot of things to do on the app. Of the friends that I managed to drag onto the app, enticed by the promise of missions and opportunities to meet new people, many of them (including myself) are disappointed with the lack of activities and interactions, other than just the photo drop feature. There just doesn’t feel like there is any reward, or reason to stay on the app, if there are no events, rewards, or other people here with us.
Again, I really want to emphasize how exciting the idea of Omnii seems to me. I just feel like there are a couple barriers that really limit Omnii from being as great as it could possibly be, and I hope that the devs find a way to make it more interactive and embedded into the Berkeley community! :)
Response from developer
We deeply appreciate your thoughtful review. Your points regarding the current lack of users and features are entirely valid, and we want you to know that we are actively addressing these issues within our team. Here's how we plan to tackle each of your concerns: 1) Omnii has only been live on the app store for about two weeks, making it an early-stage platform. We're fully committed to enhancing user adoption and retention with our initial focus on UC Berkeley. We recognize that Omnii currently has a small user base and limited features, but stay tuned for what's coming next! Our next feature, "Missions," will be introduced early next week, allowing users to engage and create interactive prompts on campus to challenge friends and gamify their real-life interactions. Furthermore, our roadmap includes a series of feature releases that will significantly enhance the platform's engagement and interactivity. 2) We're delighted to hear your appreciation of an active user community because one of our most sought-after features, iSpace, will be launching in the next few months. iSpace is designed to create a private location-based sandbox community that's highly customizable and interactive. Think of it as a 3D group chat/space for friends, family, and student organizations. Your alignment with our vision is exciting, and we encourage you to stay updated with Omnii! Once again, thank you for your insightful review. We genuinely value your feedback and are actively working on addressing the issues you've raised. We kindly request your continued support and encourage you to keep an eye on our upcoming feature launches. We're confident that we'll evolve Omnii into a vibrant and interactive community at Berkeley. Go Bears!
