Was amazing..sadly no longer works at all.
Update: it is now working again, although not currently convinced by the background summarisation process which perhaps seems to be taking longer than before.
I loved this app, but it seems something has gone wrong. It no longer summarises and simply gives a error message.

I'm very sorry you had a bad experience with SpeakNotes. We recently updated the infrastructure for SpeakNotes which has improved performance 5x as well as being able to process summaries in the background. If you ever want to SpeakNotes again I'm sure you'll have a better experience. Once again, I'm sorry you experienced this!
Promising, but broken.
I downloaded this app on the advice of a friend. I am English and do not have a strong accent. In fact, I sound like a BBC newsreader. About 7 times out of 10 this app works fine. I speak, it transcribes, it summarises.
About three times out of 10 I speak. It transcribes in WELSH!!! I just want to be clear that I don’t speak Welsh, and don’t have a Welsh accent. Translating the Welsh online tells me that it isn’t nonsense, it clearly has listened to me in English and attempted to translate into Welsh but it’s such a poor translation that it makes no sense.
Several times this has meant that important thoughts for a paper I’m writing have been lost as I’ve tried to use this app to capture them only to have it mangle them into Welsh.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with SpeakNotes, within the latest version of the app we have included a language selector and improved the infrastructure. With both of these changes I hope you have a much smoother experience using SpeakNotes and I hope you try SpeakNotes again
