  • None stop adds. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Don’t get me wrong it’s a fun game but you run into ads too much. To make a decision you have to watch an ad, to hire someone you need to watch an add. while you could’ve just got done watching an ad to make a decision, as soon as you click onto a different page you suddenly have another ad on your screen. To do anything good in this game you have to watch an ad and on top of it they have ads that will pop up outa no where every 30 seconds. This would be an amazing game if it wasn’t covered in ads. The ads at first were something I could look past but the more you want to play the game the more frustrating the ads get. And yes you can remove the ads but they want you to pay $30, it’s an insane price. Other apps are pushing it by making it $15 to get rid of ads but $30 is just straight outrageous. Until they fix there app I will not be using and will be advising people to not install this game until they fix the ad probably. It’s a fun game, but thanks to the ads it makes it insanely infuriating over time to play this game.

  • Frustratingly good game

I love this game but the amount of adverts make it completely unplayable. I’m also finding that when I’m watching adverts for game options they sometimes don’t work and I’m having to watch 2-3x more than I should.

I could happily lose hours to this game but with its current amount of adverts I’ve already lost interest because it’s too frustrating.

£30 for no adverts seems crazy. I think I payed £10 for BitLife in its early days. I could justify £15 or maybe a £5 subscription even. But £30! We’re in a cost of living crisis I can’t be dropping £30 on removing adverts from a mobile game!

  • Not what i was expecting...

The ads that come online were the things that convinced me to buy this app, but it doesn't have all that much customization. It has a lot of fun storyline details but it just seems like a copy and paste story and it's not really that complex. You can't even change the last name unless you buy the premium plus the royal family feature there's tons of different things that you have to buy with actual money and I feel like it's not worth it if it's just a mobile app. Personally I think that this game could be so much more fun if it had more customization and it would be so much more enjoyable. The only bit of customization that is within the game is choosing the schools and careers and then the babies names but it's a limited option. You can't type it yourself. It could use some improvements, but it's not all great. It's just OK.

  • Good but could be better

I really like this game as its just entertaining and passes the time well. I would however say that the adverts put me off a bit; I’m happy to sit through them a bit but after a while they get boring (it’s always the same ads too!). I also think you should be allowed more than just two family’s at one time - yes I know you can pay but it’s just not worth my money.

Overall, I would very much recommend if you like the ‘simulation’ games and although it’s simple, it’s fun and very entertaining. Thanks ☺️

  • Great game. Major Setback

This game is great. I would give 2.5 stars if that was an option. The two issues I have with it, is the ads and the cost if you want to purchase it.

    The Good:

I like the game because it’s a life sim that creates events and scenarios that you overcome and/or decide on what to do. The best part is that it’s randomize so one person’s experience won’t be the same as yours.

    The Bad:

The ads come in two forms: 1. “Action” ads and 2. “Time” ads. The first ad is used for actions that will make your characters quality of life better. The second ad happens throughout the game in roughly 5 min intervals. The second ad is great since they are short and gets straight to the point. However the first ad are roughly a min long to reap the benefits. The long ads really breaks the overall experience from minor breaks to ads that you’ve seen 20 times within a span on 30 mins.

Lastly $30, seriously? That’s more expensive than a Nintendo Switch game and I think it’s unwise for anyone to spend that much on a mobile game. For a mobile game to be $30, you’d have to impress me with jaw dropping graphics, animations, and a story that is not procedurally generated. I think $5 would be a fair and reasonable price for no ads. $30 to me sounds very greedy.

  • Love it, but…

I love this game except for the adds, how long it takes for something to pop up and when you have a massive family but go broke then have to start again.
  • Good ideas but money grab

It’s a pretty fun idle type game but ads while not excessive are far to frequent and it’s a game very clearly designed to feed ad after ad till you get annoyed and want to remove them as you are having fun and tired of interruptions. Where they they them try and get you to pay 30$ to remove them. Good ideas but to greedy

As a side note two additional in app purchases to unlock additional content that I found each marked at 10$ those in its self may be reasonable not sure how much content is behind them but this game is not worth 50$ I’d be willing to pay five for the activity add on and the requested ten for the royal story add on so pretty close pricing there but 10$ would be the absolute highest I would ever pay for no adds on this game and honestly 5 would be the reasonable price. Just wait for a sale a sims game and you find more enjoyment.

  • Became worse over time

I thought this game was quite decent at first but there’s been a few things to change that. First off I bought the life pass awhile ago which I like a lot but it’s supposed to remove forced pop up ads and even thought the life pass is working I'm still getting ads. I also wish you could use the life points in a more specific way, like being able to click a character and boost things that way or being able to hate them meet someone to marry like them being able to get a job that way. I’ve also seen people complain about how families cap out at a certain point which I’ve noticed too and it’s typically around 60. Overall this game could have great potential but getting forced pop-up ads after buying something to stop it is unreasonable. And yes, I have used the restored purchases and I still keep getting that.

  • Too many add to expensive to stop them

Great game, room for more skills and experiences and would be good if we could adapt things more like names and have more free choices on appearance and make up hair etc.
Also it doesn’t zoom out enough to see the entire family tree to know which lines are still active. Sometimes they have 9 kids that can extend the tree out far. Love how you can have twins triplets etc.

Other than too many ads it’s really fun

  • Good but some flaws

The game is good, but there is too much ads, and it costs 30 bucks to remove them? That’s a total ripoff! And also, why is none of my family members having children, ok, some of them do, but the ones that do only have 1 child, I have more than 40 empty spaces for more family, and the family is making almost 13K/second, why is this happening to me? The game advertises itself as a choice making simulator but I can’t choose if they have children or not, maybe make a 35/65 chance, 65% of people want children and the other 35% doesn’t, the couples that do want children won’t automatically go like “should we have a child? “ no, you just tap a couple and press “have baby” that prevents families from dying out because no one wanted a child, other than that, I say it’s a pretty good game
