1.2

September 6, 2023

Here are the updates for this release: **Major Updates:** 1. Added a diary collection page for better focus on diaries. 2. Introduced the time interval between completing "This time" tasks and "Last time" tasks. By checking off tasks when completed, you can easily track the time spent on each task. For instance, when timing your reading sessions, completing a book adds it as a task (with the book's title), making it easy to see how much time each book took to finish. 3. Added a notes collection page. Notes for each habit can now be found within the habit's details, similar to diaries. 4. Habits with data will now be displayed at the top. 5. Optimized the history records. They are now displayed on a daily basis, and monthly statistics have been added, making it clearer to see daily and monthly total time spent. 6. Introduced a new user guide page for a more newcomer-friendly experience. 7. The notes input box now supports multiple lines. 8. On the time tracking completion page, you'll now see the accumulated time for today and the target time. 9. Added support for two additional languages: Japanese and Korean. Users of these languages are welcome to report any errors. **Other Updates, Optimizations, and Fixes:** 10. Significantly improved data synchronization issues. 11. Greatly improved the possibility of crashes occurring between multiple devices. 12. Speed of restoring purchases has been significantly improved. 13. Modified the benefits for free users, increasing the limit on habit creation (previously 3, now up to 5), with data page restrictions. 14. Optimized the data display style for individual habits. Tasks, history, and notes are now in more limited viewing positions, with goal achievement, consecutive days, and total completion rate placed slightly further down. 15. Optimized the sorting logic across multiple devices, sorting by end time. 16. Fixed an issue where changing the target would revert to "minutes." 17. Fixed an issue where changing the habit name would hide the task. 18. Fixed a synchronization display issue for the first-time download with existing data. 19. Optimized the display interaction after pausing a habit. 20. Optimized the placement of paused habits in the category and good habits sections on the data page. 21. Optimized the unit issue for average usage time. 22. Added prompts for discount information and more. 23. Various UI adjustments, wording changes, bug fixes, and other improvements.

1.1.0

August 5, 2023

Version 1.1.0 Release Notes: 1. Adjusted the style of "Share Today" feature and reduced the watermark. This significantly improves the aesthetics of the images saved locally. 2. Fully localized English translation. This took a long time, and we welcome English-speaking users to help review and point out any disharmonies in the translations. 3. Rearranged the layout of the English interface. 4. Completed the localization of "Famous Quotes" in Traditional Chinese. 5. Localized the widgets. 6. Added a language settings option. 7. Introduced a new recommended habit: "Reduce Phone Usage." 8. Decided on the English name for "时间印迹" as "TimeEcho." It still captures the essence of our intended idea - how time is spent, and how it echoes back, allowing you to see yourself and foresee the future. 9. Fixed the issue where excessive numbers appeared in the widget for counting habits. 10.Changed the format of the daily review time to be displayed in hours and minutes, making it more intuitive. 11. Modified target editing to prevent units from being changed. 11. Fixed the issue where manually entered time did not synchronize correctly. 13. Addressed the problem of duplicate icons. 14. Fixed the issue where modifying category names could cause them not to display correctly in the "Data" section. 15. Corrected discrepancies between some habit category names and their actual content. 16. Fixed the issue of possible date misalignment on the homepage. 17. Optimized the time format in English. 18. Resolved errors in English date display. 19. Improved the logic for "Paused Habits": If there are paused habits within the selected time period on the Data page, they will also be displayed. 20. Added the "Paused" label for paused habits in the Data section. 21. Optimized the display of "Categories" in the Data section: If the current category has no data, it will not be shown. 22. Optimized the sorting of "Categories" in the Data section to match the order on the homepage. 23. Enabled clicking on "Categories" in the Data section to view the included habit details. 24. Optimized the line chart UI for "Categories" in the Data section, making it shorter and not taking up too much screen space. 25. Removed the default 5-minute countdown option and replaced it with 15 minutes. (We found 15 minutes to be more commonly used, and the 5-minute focus seemed too short.) 26. Clicking on good or bad habits will now show specific corresponding habits. 27. Made some nationality-neutral optimizations to the onboarding guide. 28. Plus other fixes and secret optimizations.

Description of TimeEcho

TimeEcho is a tool inspired by the Pomodoro Technique, incorporating the concept of time tracking from Lev B. Shcheglov. It provides a comprehensive solution for understanding how you spend your time. Whether you want to see your daily activities, track your dedication to specific habits, or maintain focus on tasks, Time Imprint has you covered. Tracking Daily Activities 1. Utilize the timeline feature on the records page to visually see your day's activities from morning to night, including the time spent on each focus. Add notes to each session for clearer insights during retrospection. 2. Simplify your view with the "concise mode" on the records page to see how much time you spent on various activities and identify the most time-consuming ones. Dedication to Specific Habits 1. Track your total time invested in specific habits, offering insights into your yearly dedication to activities like fitness or learning. 2. The heatmap provides a visual representation of your passion for certain activities, showcasing frequency and time commitment. This makes your dedication more intuitive and objective. 3. Habit history lets you see the specific time spent on each day for a particular habit. Enhancing Focus 1. Utilize countdown timers to modularize your tasks, creating a focused and enjoyable work environment. 2. Continue focused sessions seamlessly by clicking "continue timing" after a timer ends, avoiding the need for reconfiguration. 3. Adjust ending times even if you forget to save during continuous focus sessions. Time Travel Like Reading a Book Effortlessly navigate through past times using the year slider. Identify months with data based on color, then click to delve into the details. It's as easy as flipping through the pages of a book. Recording Private Thoughts 1. Keep a journal to record daily thoughts and reflections, aligning them with your time expenditure for a clearer understanding of your day. 2. Add notes to each focused session for richer insights and sync them with your journal. Book Reading Milestones Set reading goals for each book, ticking them off upon completion. Time Imprint automatically records the time spent on each milestone. This milestone system serves as a valuable benchmark for evaluating your reading habits. Other Notable Features 1. Pause habits for temporary breaks, conveniently resuming them later. 2. Set daily focus goals to challenge yourself to maintain concentration. 3. Correct timing mistakes by adjusting the recorded end time. 4. Categorize habits as good or bad for a more nuanced understanding of your routines. Inspiration Sources Inspired by various methodologies, including the Shcheglov time-tracking method, atomic habits, the Pomodoro Technique, the 10,000-hour rule, and the concept of a century-long life. Membership Subscription Rest assured, no advertisements will be displayed. The one-time purchase option is available for a limited time, providing perpetual access to future updates. • Wanted to like it. Just not worth what I paid for it.

It’s too basic, not a very attractive UI. Granted the screenshots make it look attractive. Habit names are too restricted in characters.
