Beautiful, moving and challenging platformer

One of the finest platforming games created, the artwork is stunningly rendered, with a fascinating and engaging storyline and set of mechanics. Highly recommended.

The game picks up the language from my Netflix account. I want to play it in English. Is there a way to change it?

Poor controls, great game, such a shame.

This is a great game, and 75% of the time is enjoyable. But the rest is frustrating due to the virtual joystick control buttons. Too small, and too easy to move so miskeying is frequent, and spoils the game.

Great Puzzler

I think this game is particularly special. If you like puzzles and have played video games a while, you should try it out. Great example of gameplay helping tell the story, too.

Great game

I really enjoy the platforming and puzzle challenges that this game has to offer. The graphics look great too. This game supports cloud save, so it is nice that i can play on my phone and my ipad. It looks like the original game was designed for a particular aspect ratio, and on the ipad version it uses this aspect ratio and just has black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. on the iphone however it makes use of the wider display most of the time, and only has black bars on the sides of the screen in scenes that don’t scroll

Great visuals, poor UX

I really enjoyed playing Braid when it first came out, so I was keen to play it again. While the remastered visuals are superb for retina displays the UX makes it really difficult to play. At its core Braid is about manipulating time and movement, unfortunately the virtual joystick and controls too often cause me to move in the wrong direction: backwards instead of forwards, across instead of up/down, reactivating the movement joystick rather than jumping/rewinding time. It’s such a shame as a lot of effort has clearly gone in to updating the game but the UX just frustrated me so much that I was starting to hate a game that at one time I’d really liked and enjoyed.

Controls are horrible

This game is so frustrating because the jump control keeps moving and the guy is not responsive. Makes certain parts of the game that require ultra precise timing nearly impossible.
