  • Amazing app, one issue.

Really love this app, the click wheel and haptic feedback work really well to deliver the authentic iPod experience.

The only issue I have with this app is that when I start playing a song from within the app it does not continue playing from the same source. For example if I were to play the first track from an album, the next track would be something from my Apple Music cue instead of the second song from the album. Unfortunately this mean I have to interact with the app every time a song finishes and select another song. If there is some way to fix this that would be amazing. I have used Marvis which also accesses the Apple Music but does not have this issue so I’m sure it must be possible somehow.

One other thing that could be useful would be when you return to the previous menu if the app would remember where you were so you don’t have to scroll all the way down with the scrollwheel again.

Hope this feedback can be useful, thanks for all your hard work so far!

  • Way better than most iPod apps!

Simplistic, straight to the point, A simple little app made to replicate the iPod Classic experience on the iPhone, no ads to interrupt your listening experience, it’s perfect!

there are a couple of things that would probably make the app better, like a playing now tab showing what’s playing now, like on the iPods. I did experience some issues with the clickwheel where i often found myself pressing the buttons when i wanted to scroll but i don’t think there’s really a way to fix this.

besides this, it’s perfect, the connectivity is perfect, the interface is perfect, it’s a great app!

  • Great!

As someone who never got the chance to get an iPod classic, this is great. Just wish you could add YouTube Music integration!
  • Don’t write reviews but I want to help make this perfect

I love how guys made it blend with phone vs copying the I pod shuffle exactly. I wish we could see the album cover, shuffle songs from a playlist, or even just play one singular playlist. So close to really good. Hope you guys could fix it it would make this app amazing
  • Great concept

I’m not able to get the app to show the music album artwork and the title I said shows on your introduction of the app therefore it doesn’t really look like the iPod classic please fix that problem and it will be great
  • Needs fixing

It connects to Apple music and can play music and playlists, but as soon as you skip the song, it will just play any random song even if shuffle is off. Also, there isn't any view to see what's currently playing, which would be useful to have.
  • Almost perfect

As soon as it supports apple music, my 4 stars will go to a five
  • Compatibility?

It connects to spotify alright, yet it does not seem to function as intended. On spotify, after the playlist or album runs out of songs, a similar song that you have not yet heard starts to play. The retro pod only plays one song before this happens. I like songs Ive never heard before, but I also like songs that I like, and this does not seem to play albums. I also wonder if the album selection is a trademark apple design as it is absent here. If the retro pod has the scroll wheel, can it also have the panoramic album view that looks like a stack of records?
