We have fixed it the same day, so please update your app to the latest version to resolve the connection problem. Early Experience with Plaud
Very useful tool for transcribing in-person meetings
I liked that it could pick up and differentiate most of a conversation even in somewhat noisy environments. It has its limits to too much noise, yet, I was surprised how well it did while in my jeans pocket.
Some of the sub-menu commands (eg. Save mindmap to PNG) are written in Chinese, but everything else is in English. That’s my only suggested improvement.
I wonder if there’s a better way to periodically check the recording hardware device from the app - eg. to know when the battery has died so I can recharge it before I need it next.
The initial free trial was sufficient enough to transcribe & mindmap several long conversations before needing to upgrade — plenty to assess it’s usefulness.
