Great yet ends up worse
It’s easy to carry and use. As time goes on it gets worse. When it’s low on battery it will shut off before the indicator and it will be hard to get a charge to connect. Recharge often when it gets 50%. This is my second one. After a few months it starts having complications. Troubleshooting is horrible with customer service so don’t expect a ton of help with an actual person. My second one issue is that the device when next to the phone doesn’t connect and still searches for it. So hopefully you don’t need it when you do. I might be on my third one soon.

I'm very sorry. Regarding the connection issue, one version of our app encountered a bug that affected connections in certain situations. We have fixed it the same day, so please update your app to the latest version to resolve the connection problem. Misleading sales
The Product seems to work, but this whole marketing it as an AI voice recorder is not 100% honest. It ONLY involves AI if you’re prepared to pay £80 a year for a subscription. Otherwise it’s just an expensive voice recorded. I feel quite duped tbh

Snuck this into a 1on1 with a manager who was making an attempt at constructively dismissing me and was able to record them being coercive and using language which indicated discrimination. Used to as the basis for a severance package and damages!
No more writing notes or worrying about forgetting todo items after a meeting
I completely love this thing. It has changed my workflow tremendously every meeting every call every conversation business or personal related that I feel I need to capture some points. I record it and rely on the awesome AI generator to produce a summary. It’s worth every penny.
Holy crap that’s cool!
I have bad ADHD so I’m extremely forgetful and taking notes during meetings is hard because it takes my focus away from my clients. But with this device I no longer have to worry! It makes a perfect summary of my meetings AND gives me a to-do list to follow up on. Game changer. 100% worth every penny

Early Experience with Plaud
I’m amazed at what this little faster can do, and I’m just getting started..
Very useful tool for transcribing in-person meetings
Plaud continues to add new features, like Ask with Ai which I’m looking forward to trying.
I liked that it could pick up and differentiate most of a conversation even in somewhat noisy environments. It has its limits to too much noise, yet, I was surprised how well it did while in my jeans pocket.
Some of the sub-menu commands (eg. Save mindmap to PNG) are written in Chinese, but everything else is in English. That’s my only suggested improvement.
I wonder if there’s a better way to periodically check the recording hardware device from the app - eg. to know when the battery has died so I can recharge it before I need it next.
The initial free trial was sufficient enough to transcribe & mindmap several long conversations before needing to upgrade — plenty to assess it’s usefulness.
