Worth it!
I’ve been using this for a little over a month. Besides all of the features and things that others have said in other reviews I want to share two great benefits.
My family speaks Spanish, I can turn on Plaud and put my phone down. At the end it will transcribe and give a summary of the conversation in English 🤯.
You can use it in a place with a lot of background noise, church, restaurant and it picks up the needed conversation and transcribe and summarize it for you.

Fantastic transcriptions and summaries
The devices work really well picking up the audio and transferring it to the phone for the app to upload and process is also very easy. Battery life of the devices lasts a week or so of moderate use. The automatic selection of summary template works really well. I have used it at church, in business and personal meetings, even family meal time. In every one it seems to capture the event. I also can manually choose which template if I have a strong preference. One note is be careful of who you label as which speaker. It will remember the first name you apply and use that going forward. I will have to reach out to support to get one mislabeled removed. Lastly the exports and sharing features and ability to import any audio from any source is also a major plus.

iPad Version
Loving it so far, helps me a lot with my meeting lecture notes. I was wondering if there would be a version for iPad to be able to use the app vertically, since a lot use their iPads or tablets as a laptop attached to a keyboard. Thank you!
Poor customer service
Device works pretty good, although, in doing more research, I can do all PLAUD does with my iPhone and ChatGPT.
I had, sadly, put my PLAUD device through the washing machine less than a month after purchase. I was hoping I could get it refurbished or some support in getting a new device. They offered me $10 off non-sale products
In the midst of trying to get my yearly subscription reimbursed since I used it for less than a month 😥
Just thought with spending almost $400 on their product they’d be a tad more supportive.

Exceeded my expectations
This app is simply amazing. Does a lot more than you can possibly imagine. I pre-record my meetings that I have with my team on plaid, and it gives me a mind map and a downloadable transcript to pass out to my team so I’m better prepared.
I record all my Zoom meetings and webinars, and it gives me bullet points, which helps me to retain their information .
If you’re a business owner or student, this will change your life! Mind blown!

Game changer
An absolute game changer for my business
So far so good.
Could that be the one? The one app that really do ‘well’ what it should do? Only problem is the safety of the information that Plaud process. I need to inquire more.
