What's New in Pedal
1.3.2
December 23, 2024
• Buttons in the bike computer / navigation modus now have a larger touch area so that operating the screen is easier, even when wearing gloves.
• Various improvements in adding bike log entries.
• Various bug fixes and improvements.
I switche dbaxk to an Apple Watch Ultra for the cycling capabilities that were added in watchOS 10. I was disappointed at first with Apples implementation of speed sensors / gps tracked speed.
This app seems to bring it together. I’m going to use this for a couple weeks.
I’ve tried many of the existing iPhone based cycle computers and given how young this app is it’s really got some potential. I’ve only ridden with it once but all my sensors were recognizable and used.
It’s nice to see a developer who can build on some of apples good work.
Wish list for future releases. Import from Strava or Apple history to improve the maintenance feature. And would help see other metrics in the watch.
Overall for a commuter, this app does what’s needed.
