The magnificent fringe festival is badly diminished by this ghastly, amateurish app. Constantly crashing, constantly declaring that you’re not connected to the internet when you absolutely are, constantly failing to complete sales or even put tix into your shopping bag. The people behind this trainwreck should take an online class and learn to code.
Lots of great info available but only if you have wifi.
Would be helpful if your purchased tickets and mapping function were available offline.
It’s a low-budget, community-organized festival. This app makes it dramatically easier. Now even has offline mode! (Which works… -ish.)
It’s fine and it has a randomizer feature to look up a random show which I wanted
Really wanted this app to work. The features and ambition is there, but the execution is not. Shows that you buy tix for (either on the app or on the web page) do not show up anywhere in the app. The planner is empty of the many shows I’ve saved or bought tix to. Really too bad, as this is a perfect feature for a festival like this.
Decided to give this 1 star app a try. Well guess what, 1 star is accurate. I couldn’t pay - Apple Pay is broken and returns an error.
For the second year in a row this app is useless.
When the app popped up a full screen message on my iPhone about their new “offline mode” it essentially bricked the app because there was no way to make the message disappear. You have to delete the app and start over. But of course it happens again and again.
Why? Because the app can’t handle large fonts.
If you are old and can’t see tiny print and have increased the font size on your iPhone then you won’t be able to get any info about venues with this app. That’s a fairly significant negative.
Also, if you click the subscription button you will have to reinstall the app to get back to the main menu.
Without WiFi, this app is totally useless. Foreign visitors without data cannot even OPEN THE APP without internet access. Old app 5 years ago stored my planner calendar, maps of venues, and database of shows even without access to wifi/data. Even WITH WiFi, this version only shows my calendar of purchased shows about 40% of the time. Usually blank when I open it. So inconsistent it is unreliable and unusable.
Would be nice if the app didn’t crash nearly every time I try to specify a time range for shows in the search feature. It mostly works otherwise, but this fatal bug really needs fixing ASAP.
