  • A great app for a great Bible!

I use this EVERYDAY! Bro. Stamps commentary is awesome, and it has helped me with my walk with God. I look forward to new capabilities in the future. I know $3.99 per month seems like a lot, but I look at it as giving to missions.

Thank you, Charles! Your comments are appreciated.
  • I like it

I like what I see. I understand this is new. I look forward to others features as they are developed. Features like copy and paste. I would like to tap in a verse, that will take you there and then go back to were you where. The thing with the Hebrew and Greek concordance is nice, I like those kinds of concordance but I dont know the words themselves, so that is not user friendly. I would rather look up a word “bless” to find the Hebrew word, If that makes sense. I’m looking forward to seeing what new

Thank you for your review! We are less than a year old and have high hopes to make this app something you'll use daily. We just released copy and paste features and note taking a few months ago and we will be releasing a new update before the end of the year (Lord willing) with the additions of the NLT audio and highlighting features. Stay tuned. It just keeps getting better!
  • More features coming

I like it. It needs more features like audio and highlighting. I spoke to the reps at Life Publishers and they said those features are coming! Can’t wait! I also like the fact that my subscription is like giving to missions

    Developer Response

We love that you "get" the missions aspect!! Your subscription truly DOES support our missions goal and we hope to release the NLT audio and highlighting before the end of this year! Thank you!
  • Needs one time fee

Why not have a reasonable one time fee?
    A monthly fee is unreasonable.

    Developer Response

That's a great question! We at FireBible wrestled with this decision for quite a while. We decided to do a monthly subscription for several reasons, one of those being for maintenance and upkeep. Maintaining an app of this magnitude costs...and it costs a lot. So your monthly subscription helps us maintian and improve the app. Above that, we are a missions organization. Any monies received goes to fund more Bible projects in new heart languages! So, in essence, your subscription is more like missions giving! Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us at fbapp@firebible.org

Updated: the app can be downloaded, but requires cell data to use if you’re not connected to wi-fi.
I have an old NIV copy of the Fire Bible, so I was excited to find the app. I would have given 5 stars, but it doesn’t give an option to download the Bible and it requires Wi-Fi. I don’t always have that ability on my iPad. Otherwise it is a great app!!

Dear Mrs_pdc, Wi-Fi is only necessary during the initial download of the app and the approval of the subscription. After that, the app remains on your device indefinitely without requiring an internet connection. Updates, however, will need a Wi-Fi connection when they become available. Additionally, if you have Family Share enabled, each member of your family can download the app onto their devices at no extra cost, which is a fantastic offer. Exciting news! In March 2024, we'll be releasing an update that will include Copy/Paste and Note Taking features to enhance your experience with the app. Thank you for your support and anticipation of these upcoming improvements! Best regards, The FireBible Team
  • $3.99 A Month?

I use the print version always and it’s my favorite. I am not going to pay a monthly fee to read The Word.…………………………………… Update: After a great response from the developer, I changed my mind. I’m a big tither so it makes sense to support this Bible with where the money goes.

Larry, Thank you for your dedication to the FireBible! Your support means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate your use of our resource. As you're aware, FireBibles come at a cost. As a missionary organization, every contribution towards a FireBible purchase goes directly into funding reprints, supporting not only our English versions but also 67 other translations. Our aim is to expand to 100 translations, and your support contributes significantly to this goal. Regarding the subscription price of our app, we view it as a form of mission support. It aids us in enhancing the app's functionality and will eventually assist in funding these 100 translation projects. We hope this explanation sheds light on why the app isn't offered for free. We firmly believe that the FireBible toolkit is incredibly valuable and worthy of its cost. Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Best regards, The FireBible Team
  • $3.99 A Month?!

I use the print version always and it’s my favorite. I am not going to pay a monthly fee to read The Word. This is pathetic.

  • Cost???

Really??? 3.99 a month? Certainly the desire to get this resource out is important, but the cost WILL limit that. I have raised $$$ for the print version to be translated, and been involved with placing it in the hands of others at no cost.

Other options need to be pursued, maybe contact You Version for their ministry model in distribution. Let’s get the Word of God and the Fire 🔥 Bible out there without this. Maybe $3.99 one time for the app.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Best regards, The FireBible Team PS - In March of next year we intend to roll out these new features: copy & paste and note taking, that will live on all your devices. We're committed to adding new resources at the same subscription cost to make the app so much more than it is currently.
