  • Based on the sample, no thanks

I get it. Writing code and hosting AI tools is expensive. If you're going to give users a sample of the product, however, don't use the really poor neural filter processes from 2019. It's like handing out stale leftovers at a bakery, trying to entice new customers. It just doesn't work. There isn't enough in the pre-subscribe sample package to make subscribing (even with 3 free days) worthwhile. I didn't look nearly as interesting as the App Store info. Sorry. Also, there's no description of what the "cloud credit pack" is for and why I should pay extra for those credits. Are they for AI-based actions? If so, is the $30 annual just for access to purchase additional credits? Seems odd to me.

  • Flawed

This has been my favourite app and I have used it intensively to produce some amazing results. There have been some adverse updates causing freezing and crashes which now seem to have been cured. However, the most recent updates have not addressed the two problems that now make this app extremely frustrating to use. 1. Filter strengths have been throttled from 100 to around 70 so that the fun has gone out of exploring the extremes of the filters, and 2. The filters which work progressively up to 50 thereafter take on a reddish hue even if increased to just 51 and become bizarrely pixilated. On the plus side there are plenty of new filters being added - though too much emphasis on Van Gough for my taste. However, the fundamental flaws in the software need to be addressed urgently before it becomes too frustrating to bother with.

  • Picture to art in creative ways. Mild to WILD

I like how you can make the same photo look closer to how photographed or in some of my favorite artist more artistic style.

  • Photo to Digital Art

Aquarelle gives you a ton of filters and reimagines your photos into works of art that amazes you and inspires!
  • Love this app!

I love this app! So many options to use! The only downfall is only getting so many credits to use, even when you subscribe. Especially when you use so many credits trying the different filters.

Hello Karbeen, we give 500 credits per day and 3000 extra per month, we are looking into increasing it but there will always be a limit as the gpu cloud isnt cheap and we need to give space for everyone. I am happy you lime the app :)
  • Enjoying it

I am enjoying it as of now this is my first time using it. If anything isn’t good I report back.
  • Sad

This is sad to see. I doubt the living artists named and used to train the AI for this app gave permission to this developer.

    Developer Response

hello kingofzombies! The app mimics the style of paintings, and does not reproduce any actual existing copyrighted material. We take care to always reproduce the input image stylized, so these are actually image filters and don't generate copy-righted works. Please understand that naming a filter or reproducing an artistic style isn't copyright infrigement---we do care about artistic copyright and the authors and respect their work.
  • Excellent artistically and without bugs

Terrific app for photo to painting via AI. Best is the multiple paint styles. Appears flawless and HD is relatively fast. Only thing lacking is abstract paint styles.

    Developer Response

thank you for the nice review Larry! We do have some abstract filters in store---see for example Abstract Picasso :) have fun!
  • Impressive!

This app can paint better then me sadly! I’m putting my own art through it for inspiration.
