SpaceWalker is a stand alone app that doesn’t require the VITURE HDMI adapter but does work with some of the features in the glasses. If you have an iPhone hdmi adapter, you can try this app. I still find there is no real-world use. The browser is sub par. Even if your iPhone is already logged into some platforms, in SpaceWalker you will need to login again. The YouTube feature is the only one I use. The New York times requires you to sign up, so that’s frustrating, would rather remove/replace. The 3D viewer is a joke, the glasses have their own way of pinning the screen in space but then the app also has a way of using head tracking. They need to work in unison but they don’t. Also, the 3D experience has issues. Trying to view webpages that utilize Web XR doesn’t work. When using the glasses with an Android tablet, you can use Dex which is cool, but that has nothing to do with SpaceWalker and the hdmi adapter. I really wish they would add Google street view in a way that makes you feel like you are in the street. The There’s a bunch of little glitches that still need ironed out.
Update: added feature to see hdmi adapter battery level.
