What’s new in this version: – You can now import events to Favs from your phones calendar. We believe social media should be meaningful, not mindless. Favs is the app where 50 friends feel like a 1000 because they actually matter. In this version, we've tightened a lot of screws and added some delightful features. – Status Updates: Inspired by the original away message of AOL, you can now leave a status (note) on your profile. In doing so, you can also invite friends to call or meet you in person. This is just another way we ensure you never feel alone. – Polls are now called Questions given how many people wanted to send open-ended questions. Love seeing how passionate people are about getting advice from friends. – We've added Star Signs to friends profiles. Want to add a different type of sign too? Let us know! – You can now send Group messages to your pods. – Last but not least, we've added a Guide to help you get familiar with our colors and badges. Social media is different now. Someone is always selling you something. It used to be about friends and family, but nowadays, it feels like it’s more about ads, influencers, creators, brands, and commerce. That's why, we're taking it back to the basics. In this versions of Favs, we've introduced our most requested feature yet: Posts. Posts is where you can share your photos or feelings, without judgement. It's a safe space to share what's really going on in your life. Except, there's no doomscrolling, no infinite feed, no promotions, no like counts – just authentic updates from the people who matter to you. When we started Favs, we set out to create an app that doesn't have ads or photos, because truth is they can be really addictive. While we still don't do ads, we realized the problem wasn't in having photos - it was that photos couldn't be enjoyed alone, without the constant push to swipe, like, promote and send. And yeah, we're guilty of it too where you open a push notification of one post, and then next thing you're wondering where the last two hours went. Our core mission stays the same, we give you 1,000 more reasons to message a friend. Whether it's their birthday, or they're traveling, they have an upcoming event, or share a memory, our goal is to help you first stay in touch (send a text), then deepen that connection (plan a call or meetup). It's simple: Favs is a deep social app designed to make you closer than ever.

Most social media apps are about learning a little about a lot of people. Favs is a deep social app focused on learning a lot about a few people. Here are the updates in this version: – We’ve added the ability for you to share your polls with friends not on Favs. That means, even if you don’t have many friends on Favs yet, you can text a link for them to answer it via their mobile browser. It’s quite magical really. Give it a shot now. The poll is in your court – We’ve also made it easier to rate, review and report a bug. Feel free to share what your favorite part of the app has been. Bonus: Hold down a Pod on the People screen to add multiple people to a pod quickly.

Friends are the family you choose. Thank you for choosing us. Here are the updates in this version: – Inviting friends just became easier. Check out the new icon on the Home screen. – You can now import contacts (without inviting them) from the Add People screen. – We heard you loud and clear. Polls can now have up to eight options, and you can let friends enter custom responses too. Bonus: Hold down your profile picture for a shortcut to editing your profile :)
