Bought this app and now the updates want me to repurchase. Be careful if you buy in time the app could be update and you purchase will be for a different version.Russ422021
What does “lifetime access” mean?
As others, I’m highly disappointed in the “lifetime access” I already paid for, yet you want me to pay for it again with this new version? If you only meant “lifetime of this version of the app” then that’s how it should’ve been sold. “Lifetime access” to me means as long as the app is around, updated versions and all. If you want to charge everyone again for a new version, don’t sell it to us as “lifetime access”. I get that companies don’t always give away new versions of software/apps just because a user bought an older version, but those companies never said I’d have lifetime access when I bought it. No Way to Restore Scans via Login
I used the app and really liked it....until I got a new phone and lost all scans despite having paid for premium for the cloud saves....if you redownload the app there is nothing linked to an email address etc. to restore the data...Coolhand080
Not lifetime!
So I had the old legacy app where I paid for the ‘lifetime access’ the the card scanner. Now there’s this ‘new’ version with icloud and is otherwise the same app, but released as new one so we need to pay lifetime access all over again... There’s no way I’d pay for this one when in a month he could release a new version of the app I’d have to pay for again. Or who knows how long it will be before he stops supporting the first one there was lifetime access to? Feeling kind of scammed, would rather have had a subscription model, than have been misled like this. Or have just same old app but pay for icloud or pay for update. But to pay for same features I already paid for lifetime access of? Scammy and I won’t do it again just for another new app to come out in few months. Worth the Change
So, I started with Helvault Legacy, and even paid for everything.
And then I upgraded to this and I have to say, it is well worth it. It feels more effective, smooth, it has a lot more details and functionality so, I use it all the time.

Do Not Give Them Your Money
Instead of a subscription to fund development, tell them the features are “lifetime” and then release a new, better version of the app with the same paid feature, increase the price, and make them pay for it again and swear, for real this time, it is “lifetime” access. Congratulations, you have reinvented the subscription model with a side of unearned moral superiority and extra steps. Poor commie boo needs a few Econ lessons. This one is free. Pay twice?
Love the app, but why does an update come in the form of a separate app that I have to pay for, a second time, and get no credit or discount from my previous purchase of the “legacy” app. There is also no way for me to refund my purchase on the legacy app. The button is there, but it does nothing. This app has got everything you need for keeping track of your collection, nice and slick and I appreciate an app just made by a solo developer rather than a big corporationpca2
Lost me
Loved the first version, almost got excited about the “new” one but I’m not going to pay again for “one time” services when I’ve already paid. 👎👎grablox
