It could be good but not as it stands. There is no system in place for absences. Sometimes the app lags out upon check in and logs you as absent. There should be a notification system when you need to check in. You should be able to check in 10 minutes before the lecture, it’s rude to stare at your phone whilst a lecturer is trying to teach, especially when there are issues with the connection. This also impedes learning as your focusing on an app as opposed to focusing on the education your paying for. There should be systems in place if you ‘miss’ a check in and you should be able to apply for an absence in advance if you have a doctors appointment. This is currently far from a true reflection on attendance.

If you accidentally check in with your location turned off it will record you as absent and not let you retry so mistakenly says you are absent even if you are not
The worst app ever used
Very bad, terrible app!! I tried to check in on the way to class. however, because the distance was not close enough to the lecture hall, the app show that I failed to check in and I will be marked as absent! It doesn't have the option to sign in again! Even if you actually go to class, you will be marked as absent!

Doesn’t work
I’ll be sat in class clicking the sign in button and all I get is a loading screen. It only worked once and now it’s useless. I know loads of people who have the same issue
