Brilliant app

This is like having your best friend in an app: trustworthy and reliable and at the same time being supportive and kind.

I love the goddess names, it brings a really positive feel to our bodies. Other body shape names, such as apple or pear, seem to have negative associations. By giving every body shape a goddess name it has an instantly uplifting feel. It makes me feel proud of my shape and I know others feel the same.

I’ve found the app so useful as it offers practical advice and explains why certain items and features don’t work. This means no more unwanted clothes, less money spent and being more sustainable and planet friendly-it’s a win win.

I’m recommending this app to all my friends and family. Thank you Think Shape for helping us feel stylish and confident in our own skin.

Perfect app

I have found this app so helpful when shopping. The results are accurate and have made me think about my body shape and what suits me. Made shopping so much easier and the team are in hand to answer questions.

Overpriced. Inflexible. Weak advice

I cannot recommend this app. It is way overpriced for the information you get. Once you have entered your measurements they now block you from editing them - so if you lose or gain weight, too bad, you have to send your personal measurements directly to an email address to be updated (so no privacy there). As this functionality used to exist, it’s not clear why they should remove this, it’s just inconvenient and obstructive. The advice given is pretty feeble and the outfits bland. Far from an original or even well considered take on body shape, this is just the usual Apple/pear/hourglass but renamed with goddesses. It’s silly and would have been worth it for a few pounds but is a con for the price charged. Not recommended.

Thank you for your review. I am so sorry to hear that you feel the app is overpriced. What our app offers is a detailed explanation of your dominant body shape, as well as guidance that helps you better understand your body’s unique proportions. All women will be one of 9 possible goddesses (body shapes) but there are over 600 million permutations of recommendations, meaning that you may have the same goddess as someone else, but you will receive very different style advice based on the measurements that you put in. We know that no other app offers this level of detail. As you can imagine, we thought long and hard about the price point for the premium content. Focus groups felt it was a very fair price for this amount of personalised advice and for lifetime access, that allows you to update your body map measurements as your body goes through natural changes over time. We do really appreciate your feedback about the price, however, and will definitely be taking it into consideration as the app evolves. With regard to the locking of measurements, we're sorry you feel this way. They can be amended in total privacy by all of our app users. We know that things change for people and we just ask that if things need amending, our customers get in touch and we can unlock the measurements page for them to change at their leisure. We are also happy to make changes on our users' behalf, whichever is easier for the individual. I also wanted to apologise for the delay in responding to you. Your review should never have sat for so long without a reply, but I spent much of January in hospital with pneumonia and I’m therefore only just getting to this now. Confused

Every other shape system has me as an hourglass, leaning towards a pear. This app decided I am the equivalent of a column. I wouldn’t have any problem if I was but if it can’t categorise me, how can it help me shop?!

Making the right choices!

Even at 63 years young, I’m still making mistakes when it comes to choosing clothes, especially if I’m trying to follow trends or recreate an outfit I’ve seen work brilliantly on someone else. The Think Shape app has brought so much clarity when it comes to knowing what really suits me and making sensible purchases. I’m excited for all that is to come from the app in the future. Keep up the good work, Think Shape!

I am loving this app. Even though I should know, I still make mistakes when buying clothes and my mistake is trying to emulate what other people are wearing. This app reiterates to me what suits me and what I should wear which I am finding very helpful. I think it’s good value and any help I can get is great and new ideas are great too.
