Great way to build your community

I’ve been growing my community here for the past months and it’s been a great experience. The club members also love how easy and simple the communication and updates center is! You should definitely download this if you’re thinking of creating or joining communities.

Buggy, account can’t be deleted.

I initially managed to get past the sign-up page, but there are a few things that left me questioning the process. For starters, why is it mandatory to upload a picture during sign-up? I’m also puzzled as to why, when selecting “student,” I need to provide details like my university name, graduation year, and even my major. This feels invasive for what’s supposed to be a community app—there are certain things I’d prefer not to share on my profile.

After signing up, I joined some clubs that caught my interest. However, I was unable to participate in any chats, and the app was incredibly buggy. A few hours later, the app became unusable. All the content disappeared, leaving only the logo with a message saying “no user found.” When I tried to log back in, it said “user does not exist,” but when I attempted to sign up again, it said “email already exists.” To make matters worse, I couldn’t even delete my account.

Overall, the app has potential, but it’s incredibly slow, buggy, and needs a lot of improvement before it can be considered user-friendly or reliable.

The safety of our users is a top priority for us, and having a profile picture is one of the measures we’ve put in place to create a secure and trustworthy environment. By ensuring that each user has a visible identity, we can help reduce the chances of fake accounts or anonymity, which can sometimes lead to harmful behaviour. Requiring a profile picture fosters transparency and accountability, promoting a sense of trust within the community. Your account was blocked by our safety team for not meeting the platforms requirements, this is why you account was frozen hence why you were unable to access the app. Please send us an email at info@thecliq.app and we can review your account.

Great app to meet new friends in the city based on your interests

I first discovered CLIQ when they launched, I thought they nailed the concept from the get go!!! The app is amazing, simple to use with great UI, functions are defined and easy to use. Building your profile is super quick and becomes personally once you selected your interest. I loved the event barcode is on the app, no hassle in finding an email confirmation for events I have signed up too. I can’t wait to see what more they do!!!

Can’t make Clubs outside of UK

Would love to use this to start something up (USA) but I can’t start a club without a location, and all the locations listed are in the UK as tags, rather than using a map location marker. Bummer.

Keeping the community together!

Such an easy to use app, connecting the community together! I’ve been able to stay up to date with community events and made some valuable friendships that I wouldn’t have made before! If you’re living in London and want to find a likeminded community you need this app 🤩

Easy to use, lots of clubs and i love it.

I joined this app and was surprised the variety and number of clubs that is already on here. There is something for everyone and with different interests. I have been able to join some clubs and attend some events already and meet some lovely people. Thank you. Will def recommend to my friend who is on a career break at the moment and looking for things to do to enrich her on her self improvement journey. Thank you

The best community

Cliq has been such an amazing community to be apart of.. they hold events where you can chat to likeminded people and make new friends who enjoy the same hobbies as you. Its a lovely community to be apart of and I 100% recommend if you want to step out of your comfort zone and meet new people!

Amazing app for connecting and events

Easy to navigate and find new exciting events to attend, be it social, exercise, mental health and more. You can join group chats ahead of the event on the app and see who else is attending so it’s great for anyone anxious about going to something alone or outside of their comfort zone :)

Just what we need in today’s society

Love everything about CLIQ. The whole idea, ethos and support is spot on.
The app could be improved in a few place but considering it is free to use it is great!
Cannot wait to grow my community and be a part of something that helps people 🩷
