Won’t start
I really want to try this game but every time I try to open it it shows the intro splash screen and nothing else happens.

fun game!
i downloaded it after seeing the ads and thought i’d give it a shot. it’s so fun! i love that the ads are optional (view ad to get reward), games like this that grab my attention don’t come by often. the pixel graphics are cute, and i enjoy the mining and raiding mini games. big ups to the devs for not shoving ads down our throats and giving players the option to buy-out ads

This is a glorious little time waster game. The graphics are cute and the missions are just challenging enough to be fun without being tedious.
Quick question though, the bard comes through every 3 seconds but the watch video option is always greyed out. What’s his point if you can’t get his rewards?

My favorite game
I'll say it: I think this is the best game in the App Store right now. Here are a few reasons why.
1) I love city builders, and this one looks beautiful. The color palate and the 8-bit aesthetic are perfect together.
2) there's a great mix of idle stuff and active stuff (you have several minigames you can play while logged in, for instance).
3) there's no PvP, at least at the moment. You can "raid" other cities for resources, but I've never lost materials due to other people raiding me, which is perfect. (A low-stress city builder with actual PvP would be a disastrous decision - take note, devs!)
4) the no-ads upgrade is completely worth it; the store says it's $15, but after you beat your second city, you'll get an offer to get that plus gems and other stuff for $10. I figure the game will bring me ten dollars worth of enjoyment, and the ad bonuses are huge.
5) it's fun, and that's the most important part. There's a puzzle element; you have to place workers where they're most efficient. It's not just a game where you log in, get your materials, click a few things, and leave. You can really put thought into your next decisions if you want.

Lost all my progress!!!!
I was playing the game and then closed the app and let it do its idle thing, and when i opened the app again I’m back at the first town with nothing. I “chatted” with support (the chat bot) and said I’d get help in 72 HOURS….im not at all optimistic about that happening if I don’t hear anything I’ll just get rid of the game, it was a decent little time waster at least when it worked properly 👎👎👎👎👎

Codigames used to be good. Crashes, grabby monetization.
Love the art and gameplay seems like it would be good… if it didn’t lag and crash so much. It even freezes at the end of ads so you have to watch the ad, restart the app, then not get the reward and have to watch the ad again. Freezes on every raid I try. Restart of app takes forever. When not freezing, it lags very badly between opening and closing things. It went more smoothly after I rebooted my iPad but that only lasted a little while.
I tend to spend on games if it’s a fair deal, but not when I feel I’ll regret it due to ongoing demands or pressures for more money that make the game unfun. But No Ads is a little on the high side, and there are dozens of other things to buy to improve quality of life. I get the feeling buying No Ads won’t be properly balanced or some other issue that will make the game less fun than before the purchase. And I certainly won’t spend money if the game continues to be unplayable due to screen lag and crashing.
